It is not a glorified gossip column; but rather a small peek, without being invasive, into
a modest person's struggles and successes as he navigates the unforgiving world of
entertainment.
Mr. Firth's own character shines through as he excels in taking on varied and
difficult roles, and does it his way. Early on, without much recognition from Hollywood,
and without succombing to it's superficial glamor and lifestyle, he chose his work, and
implemented each role, with the integrity he's shown in his private life.
Ms. Maloney also touches on Mr Firth's humanatarian views and actions on behalf of opressed peoples,
and his being the very best father he could be to his child a continent away, and later on, being
a caring husband and father for his current family. A mark of a true man.
