A-B track and field competes in state meet

Over the weekend, both of the Arapaho-Butler Indians girls’ and boys’ track and field teams traveled to Western Heights High School to take part in the Class A State Track and Field Meet. While it was a good time for the track team, Coach Tyler Foale said his team was buried in the other sports advancing to their respective state tournaments.

Funeral services for Laquita Ann Littlebird, 77 yearold Weatherford resident, will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024, 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Chuck Horton officiating. Burial will be held at 2:30 P.M. at Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Beverly Ann Alspaugh Joyce was born June 25, 1936 in Sentinel, Oklahoma. Beverly was the third child of Frank Alspaugh and Katie Bailey Alspaugh. She and her older siblings William “Bill” and Katherine “Kay” resided in Sentinel until Katie’s death when Beverly was two years old.
