Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Bar area is right out of a movie set and even though there wasn't live music at that visit it seems as though from the locals sitting near us that it does happen often.Written 6 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The best part of the store however is the extremely knowledgeable and beautiful story teller proprietor Roger Stolle. Wandered in on a quiet afternoon and were captivated with Roger’s story and connection to seemingly all things “Blues”
He knows everyone and willingly shares first hand stories of musicians and music events all over the world. He runs a blues radio show every Saturday and seems to be the main coordinator of the upcoming Jukebox festival. He also made sure we knew of live music in Clarksdale and thanks to him we left to go to Bad Apple Blues Club and spent an unforgettable afternoon of listening to Blues music and stories from master musician Sean Apple. Awesome shop!!!!! Looking forward to reading his book on the Blues.Written 27 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Geoff HSissinghurst, UK12,708 contributionsYou can spend a good couple of hours just wandering around the quiet streets of Clarksdale Art & Cultural District. There's so much musical history on display in the street names, the information signs and the buildings themselves, with brightly painted murals. There's even some still life art in the form of old motor vehicles.Written 17 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
