Bryan “Todd” Bickett, 57, of Brookston, passed away peacefully at 4:34 PM, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

  He was born Monday, July 29, 1963 in Lafayette, IN to the late Clarence L. Bickett and Jerry L. (Wilson) Mallory. He married his high school sweetheart, Brenda Kay Thomas on November 3, 1984 in Gibson city, IL.

  Todd was initiated in Plumbers and Steamfitters local 157, September 1, 1989. He was a member of Sons of American Legion 492 and Wolcott Lions Club. He was an elder at Meadow Lake Presbyterian Church of Wolcott. 

  Todd loved spending time with family and friends, especially enjoyed being a Papaw. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, gardening with his wife, tinkering with tractors and motorcycles. In the last couple years, he enjoyed growing his hobby farm with all his animals. Many people knew Honest Todd from his signature old white van. He enjoyed helping the community and friends with his plumbing skills when needed. He loved harassing Mary and Louie Salvador, with Deon Miller, at the Wolcott lumberyard and the True Value girls in Remington.

  Surviving are wife, Brenda Bickett of Brookston; children; Zachery (Courtney) Bickett of Fishers, Zeberiah (significant other Ashley and her sister Kayley) Bickett of Crawfordsville, Zepheriah (Marke) Bickett of Wolcott, Zedekiah Bickett of Battle Creek, MI; siblings, Melinda (Mark) Talbott of Lafayette, Trent (Dawn) Bickett of Remington; grandchildren, Leila Kay Sargent and Finlee Ann Johnson of Paradise Valley, AZ, Brode Charles Bickett of Wolcott, Nora Jo Bickett of Fishers, many nieces and nephews, great friends, and neighbors.

  Todd was preceded in death by father Clarence L Bickett; mother Jerry L Mallory; stepfather Leland E Mallory; father and mother-in-law Joe and Ynema Thomas.

  There will be no visitation as Todd had made the decision to donate his body to Mayo Clinic.  A celebration of life will be planned for later this summer. *

* We will be gathering at 5 pm for a Memorial Service with Dinner to follow to share some of our favorite memories, our stories, to laugh, to cry and remember a wonderful person who will be greatly missed. Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 5 pm at the Bickett Residence (8129 S 1000 W, Brookston, IN 47923) pool open, kids welcome to swim.
