Check in at the hotel was relatively smooth. The deluxe room was spacious, clean and air-conditioned and offered an amazing view of the Eiffel tower.

The location is unbeatable- close to the metro and plenty of cafes and bistros. On the second night the flush of the toilet did not work, so when I advised reception, she was very curt and abrupt and said I had to wait 30 minutes before anyone could come solve my problems. I asked for an alternate room, but not a possibility. Please keep in mind this was already almost 9.30pm at night and I was ready to unwind after a very long day of walking in the Paris heat. A kind staff member showed up 30 minutes later and did a quick fix.

The kitchenette offers basic kitchen utensils, but bring your own coffee/tea. Additionally, I had to rewash some of the mugs and plates as they were a bit dirty and were chipped.

The biggest downside for me: There is NO housekeeping offered unless you want to fork out an exorbitant daily fee. If Citadines wants to use the name "hotel", then they really should be offering housekeeping and especially, in times of COVID, the least they could do was take out the garbage. I would recommend guests bring their own sanitizing solutions.

Dear STho Thank you for your feedback we are glad you enjoyed our central location! With regards to the housekeeping, the cleaning is done once a week, if you need extra service it cost 17€ for a studio and 28€ for a One Bedroom Apartment. For your information, Citadines Tour Eiffel is part of Ascott Cares Program which is our commitment to maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness standards in our property. Staff is well trained, and the cleaning service has been enhanced to ensure the maximum security to our guest, all that is part of a label done by an independent organism. We are looking forward to welcome you back. Kind regards, Adrien

We had a 2 night stopover here on our drive through France as the kids were desperate to see Paris. We chose the Citadines Tour Eiffel because of its central location and secure underground parking (we had bikes on the back of the car.) Parking was €30/night. The apartment was compact but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean with a good shower. Double bed was very comfortable with a decent mattress. Sofa bed mercifully split into 2 so the kids didn’t spend all night fighting over who had rolled across the halfway line.

Management are clearly taking COVID precautions very seriously - single use pens to fill in the check in form, screens at reception, obligatory mask wearing in public areas, used key cards quarantined on check out and hand sanitiser freely available - so it felt like a safe place to stay. The reception staff were friendly and helpful (from a safe distance!)

I’d recommend for anyone wanting a centrally located apartment for a short stay in Paris. Easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and river and right next to La Motte Picquet Grenelle metro station with 3 metro lines. Monoprix supermarket directly opposite and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby (or a few stops on line 10 to the Latin Quarter for dinner.)

We booked the hotel only for one night after coming from Disneyland as we had a day before heading back. Really convenient location and we booked the room with the eiffel tower view a bit pricey but I guess it's worth it also we had the family room so was very spacious and had a microwave , fridge, dish washer, pots, and pans almost like a home away from home. The metro is literally at the door step and there is a direct train to Arc de triumph and the eiffel tower is walking distance. Now the metro being so cloase also has its disadvantages. You will hear the metro passing by and also feel the vibration. Its was not a game changer for me however was a lottle annoying at the beginning but grew on us a few hours later. Plenty of food options with McDonald's literally the next building.

The staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating. Now for the possible improvements. The breakfast is over priced especially because its a very small selection. Unless Breakfast is included don't pay for it. The rooms are very clean but can be a little modern. Just beig picky here they can have a few more TV channels in English. But overall a good hotel with well placed in terms of location and also access to food options. Good view of the eifel tower if you chose the right room that is.

We arrived early after travel difficulties, and were not surprised to find our room wasnt available early. We were exhausted and had an evening appointment, so getting in at least on time and having time to clean up and rest was important. After 4 hours wait, knowing we were available, and well after our room was supposed to be free it still wasnt ready, they simply coldly said "no, its not ready yet, try again in a half hour." No apology for running late, nothing. When we finally got in later it was not the twin bedroom we reserved, and the bedside lights didnt even work, infact one was falling off of the wall. The bed was very uncomfortable. There were no USB chargers, and for one person to read in bed all the lights had to be left on. The curtain was hanging with several hooks off also. Aside from this the simple efficiency apartment was adequate, and had a view of te Eiffel Tower as promised. The promised available breakfast however, one of the reasons we had stayed here, was not available "we just have a bag" they shrugged. This a year and a half into COVID, when many hotels have been able to offer lovely COVID safe breakfast options. They should have updated their site to indicate that this was not available, so as not to deceive customers. The doors to the hotel are always locked, often front desk was unmanned, and when it was, with one exception in 4 days, no one ever even bothered to look up in greeting, while guests were entering or leaving, even though they were never with another guest. Other than one evening desk worker (a young man), everyone was cold and indifferent, and one middle aged man even actively refused to help answer questions myself and another guest had one evening. He just waived us off rudely and went back to eating in the back. Before you say-"Well, this in France, that is how people are", in every SINGLE shop, restuarant, tour, museum, everyone was friendly, and said "bonjour, bon soir", etc, everyone except our own hotel. Unless you just want an uncomfortable bed in a convenient area, and dont care about non-functioning things in a room and no promised breakfast available, and a cold, detatched, uncaring staff, I recommend staying elsewhere. They really made my daughters graduation trip less enjoyable. There are many other places to stay.

We arrived at the Hotel at 10am, check in was supposed to start from 3pm. 'Nes' (I hope I got her name right) saw us from the counter and offered us early check in, free of charge.

My friends and I booked 2 rooms from this Aparthotel for 3 nights. Both rooms were clean and spacious, with great view of the Eiffel Tower too (around half). Do take note that you have to select the right room type when booking tho, some room types do not face the Eiffel Tower. The room has cooking utensils, water heater works great, even the tap has hot water (and I really mean hot water). The only tiny drawback about this hotel is the lack of slippers.

Thermostat works well for my room, with options to cooling and heating the room. The rooms can get pretty dry during the night. Some rooms came with balcony (mine did), but it's pretty dirty outside so do take note. There is free coffee/hot coco at the hotel lobby, along with 2 vending machines selling snacks and some salad.

Location is great. Metro is just across the street. McDonald's is right beside the main lobby, with Monoprix and Franprix across the road too. Monoprix has a bakery and a food section selling sushi and microwavable food on the first floor, and a supermarket on the second floor.

Overall very pleasant stay indeed.

This hotel is ideal. First, if this is something that concerns you, the hotel is 100% wheelchair accessible, but you need to call the front desk before arrival to make sure an accessible unit is booked for you. Location is perfect because it is within a walking distance to the tower and all the souvenir shops and the downtown tourist places, the staff is very helpful welcoming and caring, and the best of all is the rooms are spotless clean and spacious and have everything you need; refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, utensils, everything even cleaning supplies. You would not need a thing. The only thing I did not like is the check in time, it is 15:00 which I think is too late for tourists.

Stayed 4 nights at a one bedroom apartment, kids slept on the sofa bed, no issue at all. Apartment was clean had a full kitchen even though small but it worked out good for us.

Our room had the Eiffel tower view on the 6th floor, you can see the lights at night. So beautiful. Even though it was in front of the metro line, we weren't too bothered about the noise as some reviews mentioned.

On sunday morning there was a local market, we spent some time there buying artisan croissants..very delicious.

Also there is McDonald's right besode the hotel, and Monprix supermarket across the street, very convenient for families. We also had breakfast at a local cafe across the road, I forgot the name but I recommend the green cafe as it was cheaper than the other ones, and the breakfast set was good, omelets, croissants, baguette, jam, OJ and coffee/tea for €11.

Will definitely stay again if I visit Paris 🙂

Pictures definitely don’t tell the whole story here.
The staff was great and friendly. The view of the tower was also spectacular. But….
Once you look down, the metro station is right there. It’s like a scene out of Rocky 1. The train goes by all night, so if you don’t have enough drinks to knock you out, it will keep you up all night.
The mattress was so broken down, it was only half the depth that it should be, not to mention the spring in my back all night long. The mold in the bathroom was disgusting. There is no ventilation or fans to keep it from growing.
Bed never gets made or new towels (towels were like a 1 ply toilet paper). No coffee maker in the room, have to bring your cups from the room down to the lobby to get your coffee.
We were scared to try the breakfast, so skipped it for our entire stay. Laundry is do your own.
Far from the 4.5 rating. Definitely a 2 to 2.5.

Unfortunately not the best of stays at Citadines and quite upset. We arrived at the hotel around 11am to check our bags in and pay the full amount, we then returned at 4pm to check into our room. We were told to take a seat and waited nearly half an hour without being told anything except 'someone is checking it', but it was very obvious the room was not cleaned as the women can down with a cloth and spray to tell them its okay! We received free breakfast the next morning as an apology what helped but I preferred if they were more honest about the room not being ready. When we got to our room we impressed by the view, but unfortunately that quickly changed when we realized we were right next to a metro station. This was quite loud every night and extremely disappointing for the price we payed. It was my partners birthday which she made them aware, the hotel didn't say anything about this, I understand it isn't mandatory but it does go a long way to show respect. When we checked into our next hotel they were much more friendly and expressed their interest in the birthday. The staffs English wasn't so strong, I am in belief this is not a hotel I'd suggest to a foreign tourist, this seems like a much more local hotel with the guests. On checkout the women on reception was not made aware of our complimentary breakfast but in the end took our word on it. We got back home to realize we left two items on the bed. We emailed the hotel and didn't receive a reply, so I called them for them to say no we haven't got the item, when it was left on the bed quite obviously left, so the cleaner must of binned it and failed to admit it was there. They said they couldn't check properly till Wednesday, which didn't make any sense as they must of already been in the room for the next guests? There seems to be many problems with communication in the hotels staff, after checking into our second hotel it made us upset to not spend the two nights at this place instead. If you are on a budget and want something close to the Eiffel tower then maybe this is an option but unfortunately I cannot see myself staying here again.

We have stayed here on every Paris visit for the last decade or more. Previously, we had found the staff charming and very friendly. This time they were merely efficient. When we rent in an apartment hotel, which this pretends to be, we plan to do some of our own cooking, especially in France where there is so much good food available and in this case a market steps from the front door on Wednesdays and Sundays. These units are so poorly equipped that this is virtually impossible. Even then, there were shortages of what was supposed to be available. One teaspoon for two people? One coffee mug for two people? Two small glasses, which is less than you usually get in an ordinary hotel room. The studio rooms are adequate and well insulated for sound, even those at the front a few feet meters from the metro trains. It is extremely convenient for three Metro lines and lots of restaurants. A great place to stay, but as a self-catering apartment it is a dismal failure. We bought some of our own utensils and containers to get by. For example, they have a microwave but no containers to microwave anything in!
