Rent is split in a way so that the person who has more private bedroom space (such as myself) pays more. To keep things comfortable, we are looking for guy roommates only as the guys share the second full bathroom on the top floor. The bedroom available has a closet, overhead fan, two windows, and  a good amount of space. Also the utility closet for the guys in the hallway is shared space between the guys only (mine is separate). Main level  = full kitchen, dining room, sunroom, spacious living room, laundry room, half bathroom. Outside we have a fire pit, grill, a large front and back yard with deck space, garden space… in general we have a lot of space. The house has a 2 car garage, and plenty of extra free parking space either on the driveway or on the curb next to the driveway. About the area: We are just off the beltway and live very close to shopping areas, including the Mosaic District. Neighbors are a mix between shared places (like this one), young families and older couples. People around here are respectful, friendly, and look out for one another which is nice. Dunn Loring Metro is just a few miles out. We’re walking distance from Eakin park which has miles of biking/walking paths and multiple courts (for volleyball, baseball, tennis, etc). Rent is very good for this location.

About us: I’ve lived here for 2.5 years and love it. I go to AllPeople’s Church. Roommate goes to two churches including MBC. A new (third roommate) will be signing on shortly so we just need one more person to join! It is a year lease (Sept 2023-Sept 2024). We are all nerds and play video games, board games, computer games, all of the games… Sometimes we will hang out together (for food, games, random outings, projects, movies, etc) and/or just do our own things. It is a nice balance. I have a bunch of hobbies (dancing, camping, gardening, painting, just joined a volleyball group out in Eakin Park, etc). Our landlords care very much about the house. We enjoy sharing about cultures.  We are lowkey except for the occasional get-together with our friends, such as potlucks, movie nights, and board game nights.

I'll be working for Grace Mosaic (a church in the DC network), teaching dance part-time at CityDance in Friendship Heights and attending seminary at the Reformed Theological Seminary Washington campus. I need to be out of my current apartment in NYC before August 1st so I'm hoping for a move-in date some time in July. I also would prefer to live close to a metro stop on the Red line. Both the church where I will work and the dance studio where I will teach at are off the redline (basically opposite ends at the Friendship Heights and Rhode-Island Ave/Brentwood stops) so I'm flexible on the exact neighborhood as long as I am close to that train. For my portion of the rent I do not want spend over $1,000 a month, but in an ideal situation I'd love to keep my rent in the $800-$900 range. 

A little about me: I just turned 25 last week �� and have been working in campus ministry with RUF City Campus at New York University for the past 3 years. Beautiful gray/blue modern style couch with 4 reversible pillows (one side lighter gray/blue, other side darker blue). The couch is in great shape and looks like new. We've barely used it (two female roommates). No stains or rips. The material is tweed-like but not itchy; it's very comfortable. All four legs are metal with a wooden center support. It comfortably seats two people when stretched out, but it can easily seat three people while sitting up. I'm only selling it because I'm moving and don't need it where I'm going.
