UPDATE: 5/10/2021 Package status has changed to "Shipment on hold" again after contacting the merchant via email. Not sure why its on hold again but at least it is something.
UPDATE: 5/14/2021 Package status has changed to "Processed at CINCINNATI HUB - USA". So far it's been about 3 weeks but at least this tells me my package is not lost.

UPDATE: 5/15/2021 Package status has changed to "Processed at CINCINNATI HUB - USA" yet again. I really wish they would just depart the package already.
UPDATE: 5/15/2021 Package status has changed to "Departed Facility in CINCINNATI HUB - USA". Well its about time, now I just have to hope that the driver does his job correctly.

UPDATE: 5/17/2021 I got the package, met driver outside front lawn while he was getting out the package from the truck. Looks like everything is good after 3 WEEKS!

I didn’t have a choice either but honestly I don’t think dhl really cares that they have a shit shipping process. There taking the “yeah we know we suck but oh well” approach

Same I have a package that has been stuck for almost 2 weeks now. It was an international express shipment. I spent $1,000 on shipping costs alone. It was an urgent delivery and my business has been losing large sums of money each day that it is not here. I call them every single day about it and I can’t seem to get anyone on the phone who can help or remotely even cares. They just keep telling me that shipping times are not guaranteed and to check the tracking online for updates.
Its scary because the shipment is literally at the mercy of DHL with no actual answers to anything. And in my case, I contacted the merchant that shipped my package and so far I have not got a response. Is it my responsibility to find out what's going on, or does the merchant have to? I just don't know where to look to for more answers. Guess I just have to wait and hope it gets delivered. If not, I will have to dispute the case with my credit card company if I cannot get a refund from either DHL or the merchant I purchased the product from. I'll give it a month before I make any decisions.

My package was stuck in Ohio since April 16th. It was delivered today, May 27th. I should note it was an express shipment
I got mine after 3 weeks and you waited longer than I did.
I have a similar situation. I have customers waiting on $2000 worth of apparel. I spent $600 for express shipping bit it's been stuck in Cincinnati since May 3. Now I see many others have had shipments there for 2-3 weeks. I wonder how long it will be before we get it. This is the first time I've had this problem with them.
So as a merchant, do you have to file a claim or does your insurance cover the missing merchandise?
If DHL says it is lost, then I can file a claim with my insurance and they will replace but so far DHL is just telling me that it is not lost and they are just backed up.
So far everything seems to be good, its not on hold and it has cleared processing. What else could it be? I've checked to see if there was anything else preventing the package from moving but there is none. It should have departed a long time ago.
Every thing isn’t good until it say departed facility, all of our packages processed at the same time. Which tells me they probably just scanning shit . Who actually knows if it’s been cleared and will keep on moving
What does it say under “see details” under the plus?
It just shows the piece ID number.

It got delivered Friday 5/8 , so there's hope for you, the backlog is 100% in the Cincinnati hub
Wow, glad I'm not the only one. Ordered $250 worth of stuff from Amazon that was supposed to arrive May 3rd. It's been stuck at the Cincinatti Hub since May 4th. The tracking on Amazon says if it doesn't arrive by the 13th, I'll receive a refund, so that's a plus I guess.
I’m in an almost identical situation (price wise). Been waiting since May 1st. DHL needs to fire some people once this clears up. It’s absurd.
I just simply want my car part I ordered... hell I never even chose DHL, I paid for FedEx but the merchant I bought from had switched it up on my order. I am very frustrated like everyone else that has packages stuck, and now we have to play a stupid waiting game. But the real question is, what do we do if our packages are still at the hub by the end of this month?
We revolt. No jk, in your case I would consider asking for a shipping refund. They should have honored your shipping selection.

Same here! They told me they had an issue with a plane that was going to Nashville but that was since Saturday. It’s now Tuesday it was supposed to be delivered already! It was flying throughout the rest of the process until Cincinnati…. I understand the whole backlog thing but everyday a package isn’t with me I’m losing money and increasing risk of damage to my package
