Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa has four approved rooms for civil ceremonies in addition to a Woodland Gazebo. Each room has a unique design and flexibility for guest capacity.

As the formal part of the ceremony ends, the bride and groom can relax with family and friends at a lavish drinks reception.

Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa wedding packages can provide an unforgettable wedding experience any time of year. For summer months, expect sparkling champagne on the terraces overlooking the stunning gardens and grounds. If you prefer your wedding to be a winter wonderland, expect warm Winter Pimms in our oakpanelled hall by the log fire. The Menu

All dishes are the Chef’s suggestions and he will be pleased to discuss your specific requirements with you. Should any of your guests have special dietary requirements, the Chef can cater for their needs. Please choose one choice per course.

STARTERS

Smoked salmon crayfish and pink lady salad, with roasted pumpkin seeds and crispy pastry

Native lobster and prawn cocktail, little gem, granary bread, cognac marie rose sauce

Ballotine of ham hock, pistachio, parsley and mustard, with piccalilli, sourdough and mascarpone

Seasonal vegetable and green lentil soup with sourdough croutons

Crispy fried chicken sun blushed tomato, mixed leaves, garlic and rocket aioli with lime

Sun blushed tomato, rocket, pumpkin seeds, garlic sourdough, with basil and almonds (vegan)

Roasted Cumbrian beef red onion and balsamic chutney, Yorkshire pudding, thyme and Madeira veal jus, with turned carrots, broccoli and roast potatoes.

Pan roasted chicken supreme gratin potatoes, chorizo and baby onion sauce, fine beans and English peas

Loin of pork honey roasted heritage carrots, fondant potato, apple puree, tender stem broccoli, sage and cider jus
