This venue needs to be explored on multiple visits. So much to see about Churchill’s life and career. We reached overload about two hours in. Great if you want to just see the place itself and get an idea of what went on there during WWII.

This is an audio guided walking tour through the actual Churchill war rooms. If you are a fan of WW 2 history you will enjoy it. It was a little dry for my tastes but still very informative. They have a cool gift shop on the way out.

Skip the line tickets were a must!
The “museum” was well organized and incredibly informative. Both about the history leading up to the war and Churchill’s staff and the hardships of managing the war from underground.
Churchill’s life and history of military service and rise to prominent politician was fascinating and incredibly well presented.
The Audio guide was the finishing touch, giving extra interesting detail, but not too much.

Viator, is very happy to sell you tours, but reluctant to fix their errors. They sold me a tour to Churchill War Room. The problem is that the attraction was closed on the day of my ticket. And, when I asked Viator to refund my ticket, they cited it was a "non-refundable ticket" and I would have to contact the tour operator to seek a refund. Save yourself money and hassle - book your tours direct, cut out Viator.

I enjoyed this place. As a person really interested in World War II history, I think we spent 3 hours in here. The gift shop had a ton of interesting books, too! There were lots of people in the museum, but I didn't mind.

  • 28-Oct-2019

The audio tour was excellent. And the Churchill museum portion is a must see. Allow more time for it.

  • 24-Oct-2019

Again, we went right in but there wasn´t a long line. The War Rooms are amazing but lots of info to process! We were there for 3 hours and skipped parts of the museum. A little bit claustrophobic also, but overall, a pretty cool thing to see.

We very much enjoyed our time at the war rooms. The audio tour is very good. Most of the rooms were displayed as left after WWII. Well worth time and money.

  • 30-Sep-2019

Thoroughly enjoyed this attraction. Displays were fantastic and very informative. Totally recommended for a Churchill enthusiast or just someone with a casual interest. It's that good.

  • 27-Sep-2019

Very informative and well set out. We stayed for 2.5 hours, could have stayed longer but there were so many people it was hard to view all the exhibits so get there early. Would definately recommend.
