Biden Taps Wilson as U.S. Trade Representative’s IP Negotiator

President Joe Biden plans to nominate Christopher Wilson as chief innovation and intellectual property negotiator in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the White House announced.

Wilson currently serves as the U.S. Trade Representative for South and Central Asia, overseeing trade policy with regard to 15 countries in the region. From 2014-2018 he represented the USTR in Geneva, Switzerland, as U.S. Deputy Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organization.
