Chris Tyrrell

Chris Tyrrell spent several impressionable years of his youth as an "Army brat" stationed in Germany, traveling extensively. The cathedrals of Old Europe introduced him to the architecture of faith and the power of beauty and awe.

Chris is a Vice President in Global Markets Compliance at Goldman Sachs in New York.  He and his wife Susanne live in Boonton Township and are raising nine children.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Chris was a Managing Director at Nehemiah Investments, a family office in Princeton, New Jersey, and CEO of two of its portfolio companies. Before that, he practiced corporate law at the New York firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft.

Chris also serves on the advisory board of Exploring Your Potential, an education technology company headquartered in Los Angeles.  He previously consulted for Aleteia / The Foundation for Evangelization through Media and the Pontifical Council for the Family, in Rome.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was president of the St. Thomas More Society, and the University of Texas at Austin, where he received a B.A. in Humanities and was part of the Junior Fellows honors program.

Chris spent his freshman and sophomore years of high school at Cathedral High School in El Paso, Texas, founded and run by The Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools.  He ended his high school studies and started college early, at age 15.
