Fans were stunned in August of 2017 when Anna Faris and Chris Pratt announced their divorce. The pair had seemed like the perfect celebrity couple — each with their own powerful careers. They appeared together on various red carpets and always seemed like the picturesque family on social media.
However, we now know that appearances can be deceiving. After eight years of marriage and welcoming their son, Jack in 2012 — the acting power couple called it quits.
Now, Pratt is remarried to Katherine Schwarzenegger and he and Faris seem to be in a really positive place when it comes to co-parenting their son. The Overboard actress explained to Women’s Health, “What Chris and I try to do is to communicate openly. We reiterate that there aren’t rules to this. We have a lot of love and friendship, and our big goal is to protect Jack. I cherish my family, my close friends, my child — that makes the rest of it worth it.”
However, Faris may have hinted that infidelity was a part of their split.

Hollywood is really challenging on marriages, especially for high profile couples who are constantly in the spotlight or away from one another working. When Faris and Pratt initially meet — the Mom actress was more in the limelight.
However, as the Marvel actor’s fame elevated, first with the hit sitcom Parks & Recreation and later with Guardians of the Galaxy — Pratt became a household name. “I don’t think that’s something when you’re an actor, that you’re prepared for,” Faris told People Magazine. “There are two different roles that you play — the one on-camera and the one in public … That’s the tricky part.”

Though infidelity was never brought up in her relationship with the Everwood alum previously — Faris may have just hinted at it. In a recent episode of her Unqualified podcast with Kat Von D — Faris began talking about cheating partners.
Though she didn’t name names — Faris recalled waking up a partner she suspected of cheating her in the middle of the night. “I woke them up in the middle of the night and was like, ‘Are you f*cking so and so?’ He was like, ‘You’re crazy.'” It should be noted that prior to her marriage to Pratt, Faris was married to Ben Indra.

No matter what may have happened in their marriage, both Faris and Pratt have moved on. Faris attend Pratt’s wedding to Schwarzenegger in the summer of 2019. In fact, their sole focus is on co-parenting and the well-being of their son.
“[We make] sure that he’s surrounded by a lot of love and happiness,” she explained to Us Weekly. “We’re really good at that and we have amazing friends and incredible family and we have, like, just the most amazing resources to make sure that he feels safe and protected and happy. And so far, he is.”
It also helps that Faris adores Pratt’s new wife — “Katherine’s awesome,” she gushed.
