Former University of Miami star defensive lineman Jaelan Phillips enjoyed a sensational junior season in Coral Gables.
The 6-foot-5 beast was a force to be reckoned with during his lone year with the Miami Hurricanes, and now the 21-year-old has his sights set on the 2021 NFL Draft.
Phillips started his college football career at UCLA before moving to Florida, and his girlfriend Morgan Ledenko helped make his transition to his new surroundings a bit easier.

Not much is known about the relationship between Jaelen Phillips and Morgan Ledenko, but the pair post pictures of one another on social media.
Ledenko is a former soccer player for the Miami Hurricanes, who left the school for a semester to focus on her fashion brand, Semispoiled. Ledenko calls herself a "sophomore on pause," and describes her brand as "trendy loungewear" for young adults.
Prior to his relationship with Ledenko, Phillips was reportedly dating model Rylee Martell in 2019 — the sister of former five-star quarterback turned wide receiver Tate Martell.
Martell is a model for JAG Models in New York, and boasts more than 94,000 followers on Instagram.
Jaelan Phillips' Football Career
Jaelan Phillips grew up in Redlands, California, and was ranked as the No. 1 high school football player in the nation by the 247Sports Composite coming out of Redlands East Valley High School.
Despite receiving offers from schools such as LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Florida, and more, Phillips opted to stay in-state and join the UCLA Bruins program in Los Angeles.
The defensive end struggled to get into game action during his first two seasons at UCLA, where he played under multiple head coaches, including Jim Mora, Jedd Fisch and Chip Kelly.
Across his two seasons in the trenches for the Bruins, Phillips featured in 10 games and recorded 4.5 sacks and eight tackles for loss.
Phillips sat out the 2019 season after deciding to transfer to Miami, but came back better than ever in 2020 as a member of the Hurricanes.
Phillips' junior season saw him record eight sacks, one interception and 15.5 tackles for loss, establishing himself as an elite pass rusher. He never scored a defensive touchdown in college, but he'll have plenty of time to find the end zone in the NFL.
The American football star is projected to be a mid-to-late first-round pick in mock drafts and has been linked to teams such as the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots.
His stellar Pro Day may have seen him surpass teammate and fellow star defender Gregory Rousseau in the eyes of NFL scouts, though both are expected to hear their names called on the first day of the draft.
The pair of star defenders earned praise from former Miami star Calais Campbell, who believes they will both be valuable NFL players.
