About Us

Records
Welcome to the Chino Police Department Records Unit. The Records Unit processes, files and maintains all reports and records created by the Chino Police Department and is often your first contact when entering or calling the Police Department for non-emergency matters. The mission of the Records Unit is to ensure the security and integrity of department records and to provide information and assistance in a courteous, responsive and professional manner.

Each year, the Records Unit processes over 30,000 reports, citations and related documents; responds to over 4,000 public records requests; and prepares and submits the Department's Uniform Crime Reports to the California Department of Justice.
