Love the atmosphere. Lovely cypress trees,goats, fish to feed. Fully stocked bar. Plenty of seating. Menu was filled with many... good choices. They offer outdoor seating. While there you can take advantage of kayak rentals. Must try deserts. Bread puddingwas my favorite. Had the seafood fettuccine. Was tasty and eye catching. Read more
One of the coolest restaurants I e had the pleasure of dinning at. While the food was good, the views and atmosphere really made... the experience what it was. While they have an extensive beer menu, 4 different beers our table ordered were out and the waiterdidn?t know, leading to a long wait of order, find out it?s out, reorder, etc? Definitely take a walk down to the river. Theyeven rent canoes if you want to paddle and burn off some of the beer and food :) Keep an eye out for the goats that wander theproperty. Stopped by here after paddling on the river. Very convenient for recharging. They have a great beer list?lots of variety. We... were able to sample many to help us make the best choice. We order blackened gator, crawfish fries, traditional chargrilledoysters, blackened chicken with red beans & rice, and burger with sweet potato fries. Top hits were gator, crawfish fries, andred beans & rice. Would not recommend oysters here?there are more flavorful ones elsewhere. Would say same for chicken. Sidesalad that came with chicken was also over dressed. Service was great for us (3 adults, 2 kids). Although the tables next to ushad problems (long wait for food, food sent to wrong table), we had none. Would come back after paddling again. Read more
We were quick to be seated and didn?t have to wait any crazy amount of time for our food. Ordered the fried crawfish salad and... my fiancé ordered the steak burger ???? delicious! We also ordered an appetizer of boudin egg rolls which were also delicious.We?ll definitely be visiting this restaurant again. My friend and I enjoyed a really nice lunch here at Chimes after a beautiful kayaking trip right behind the restaurant. We had a... very attentive waiter by the name of Jared. The lagniappe cakes were so good and our blackened shrimp salad with remouladedressing was cooked to perfection! Oh and almost forgot our margaritas were delicious! We loved the outdoor atmosphere bothinside and outside. Since I live in the Northshore I plan on bringing other people here! Loved it!! Read more
