Kenneth Michael Gryzik, 70, of Schaumburg, passed away suddenly on December 23, 2021. Born in Chicago, IL, on December 13, 1951, Ken attended Maine West Township High School in Des Plaines and was a graduate of Elmhurst College. Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Patricia, and his sons, Thomas and Daniel, and grandson Connor. Ken also is survived by his loving nieces and nephews, Joe (Alexis) Lawlor, Jennifer Lawlor, Sean Hegland, Jessica Hegland, Patrick Lawlor, Kathryn Lawlor, Elizabeth Lawlor, Sophie Przanowski and George Przanowski. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Stanley Gryzik. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg, followed by burial at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL. A celebration of Ken's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The American Diabetes Association.
