Yes yes yes to all of the thing said here! I have watched her since the beginning and now her channel is so boring. Girl please say one thing you liked about the book without saying stunning!

Also did anyone see that see got a sponsorship on Instagram for the new wheel of times series? It was a cool sponsorship but is she really going to read that series?! An adult fantasy series with 12(?) books?

Yeah that box was HUGE. They definitely went big with their sponsorship lol. I was literally thinking the same thing though. It's really cool they sent 12 books, and for someone who reads adult fantasy series it could have been a great gift. I think it's probably being wasted and I hope she can find someone who genuinely wants to read them and give them away. I'll say she might actually read the first book. If she loves it maybe she'll continue? But she hasn't even read the next Cassandra Clare book lol.

To me whats funny is that in the beginning she was loving it, she said it was a typical MZ book and caitlin was done with the book way before than her. Caitlin posted her rating and it was two stars and few days later, in the first vlog chloe was oh no, this book doesn't have the same feeling, it's boring, i have hope...just to give the same rating as caitlin did. Same goes with it ends with us by colleen hoover. Jaime was done way before and chloe had the same feelings than her besties. I'm not saying that can't happen. A lot of times i have the same rating or thoughts over a book as my friends but it's...curious. Her review made no sense, the cars part i can get it, sometimes authors include a lot of unnecesary stuff but the grumpy part. The wall of winnipeg also had the grumpy male, same goes for kulti which she claims she wants to read. Mariana writes a lot of grumpy men yet she doesn't like them, yet she reads MZ... so what's the truth?. If i remember correctly her fave book (all rhodes lead here) also had a kind of grumpy MC. I guess it depends on the day and whether she liked it or not. As for dune i think she was done or closer to be done with the audiobook in her last vlog but that's all. Stunning characters and nothing about the world-building, the fantasy aspect, the plot twists, the sci fi elements... like did she like paul's character? was he complex or dull?. Was the writing good or too difficult?. Did the author do a good job creating the different houses-planets?. Did she have any theories while reading paul's story?. Does she think it's good for the genre, or does she want to continue with the series given the fact that they are going to film a second part?. Is there foreshadowing about paul's character? what does she think about the villain?. I get that not all readers/reviewers are going to talk or answer the questions, i was just trying to put examples because there's more to a book than ''STUNNING''. I'm not asking for a master's essay but maybe something deeper or more thoughts. It seems that she doesn't have more vocabulary and doesn't matter what she reads she always has the same conclusion. (or the one that caitlin or jaime have)

Completely agree! I remember when she was “reviewing” it ends with us in a video she basically said word for word what Jaime said she didn’t like about the book. A lot of people have said she is very influenced by other people and it’s like she cannot have her own thoughts about a book without taking the thoughts from her friends. And it’s completely okay to have a similar reading tastes and opinions as your friends, but like it’s also okay if those tastes and opinions are different. I guarantee if Jaime or Caitlin were reading Dune with her, Chloe would have a lot more to say because she would just steal the thoughts they have on the book. I think she said she’s a 3rd of the way through the book and like you had said she hasn’t brought up anything about the book besides the writing and characters being stunning. She probably assumes that everyone watching her already knows what Dune is about or already read it

Honestly it’s like these sponsor people don’t even know the content creators they’re sending this stuff to. They should have sent this box to people who mainly read adult fantasies or people who love and rave about the series. Chloe hardly ever reads adult fantasy and just fantasy in general lately. I highly doubt she’ll ever read the books tbh and if she does she may only read the first book on audio over the span of a few months and never speak of the series again.

There's a lot of problems with who sponsors choose in general tbh. I just wish I saw people who read high fantasy often get an opportunity like this. Those books are gonna waste away on her shelves or in a pile unless she gives them to someone else

Absolutely not her fault! She could have said no to it but who would? I don’t think I would have. I get the feeling like the books are going to sit on her shelf collecting dust which frustrates me. There are a lot of booktubers that would have been so happy for those books or someone finding them in a second hand shop/cheep on the internet.

I’m really starting to think Jaime isn’t friends with Chloe anymore. She’s never mentioned in any of Chloe, Kevin or Caitlin’s vlogs. I know jaime’s taking a break from socials but she’s never on FaceTime with them anymore and I noticed when Taylor Swifts Red re-record album came out she mentioned how much Caitlin and Kevin we’re obsessed with Taylor swift but didn’t mention Jaime, who also is just as obsessed. Idk if it’s just Jaime being busy but there’s so many small hints that they aren’t on good terms or speaking right now…
And on a recent stream someone asked if she’s playing drunk amoung us (on jaime’s stream) and Chloe was like “oop I don’t think I’m playing” and it was the weirdest vibe.

I suspected this cause with jaimes recent post on her Instagram neither Caitlin or Chloe liked it or even shared it on their IG stories like they usually do with each other and that was on October 31st. They still follow each other on IG tho. But then in Chloes recent book haul she mentioned that Jaime loves one of the books she hauled. But the fact that Jaime has been been absent in a lot of the FaceTime calls in the vlogs could possibly mean they had a falling out. But maybe Jaime has been really busy spending time with her family before she comes back to Australia in a few months. But if they didn’t have a falling out I would feel extremely left out if I was Jaime tbh.

In one of the videos she posted sorta recently she said she was going to go back in March because she wanted to spend the holidays with her family and spend the summer with the friends she has there. I think another reason why she’s waiting until March is cause New Zealand and Australia are sorta still in lockdown so even if she wanted to go back she couldn’t. So she probs think by March it should be all settled.

Yeh I saw that too but her recent stream was only last week or the week before where she mentioned she’s looking to move out with friends in NZ and has some stuff going on so her plans to move back to aus are on pause, even once the travel bubble opens.
But regardless I just am getting such an off vibe between Chloe and Jaime right now. It’s all so suss.

I hope for them that they are all still friends since it sucks to lose friends but… I dislike Jamie so I don’t miss her. If I had my way Chloe and her friend group wouldn’t talk with each other in their vlogs at all. I like Cathlyn on her own. Kevin is sometimes fun and Chloes vlogs are more watchable when she talks to us and not to them.

I understand that jaime is taking a break from social media but she's still doing streams and she used to make some with caitlin or chloe. I find that sus. I don't know if they are still friends or not but i wouldn't be surprised if they had a fall out. About the australia thing, a few months ago jaime was really positive about going back to australia. In fact she left clothes, books and other stuff in chloe's house because she was supposed to come back. But maybe since she's now in NZ and she wants to be an actress so bad she will stay?.

When she moved to Australia she said nothing was keeping her in New Zealand, I assumed maybe the show she was doing ended or they probably wasn’t going to film the next season for a while. She also said that while she was in Australia will be looking for auditions there. So I think her main reason to move to Australia was to find more acting opportunities and it gave her that extra push to move there because she knew she would have Chloe to live with. I also find it weird that Caitlin and Jaime haven’t hung out really since coming back to New Zealand. I expected them to be together a lot, but Jaime has been hanging out with their other friend, Iana, a lot. So that gives me another hint that maybe they all did have a fall out.

Both Chloe and Caitlin has stated multiple times in social media posts and videos that they are bisexual. I don’t know if Jaime is bisexual, but I do know at some point she did say she’s not straight. So I am pretty certain that Jaime does like women. I know when they did move in with each other they claimed that a lot of people thought they were dating, but they said if they were dating they wouldn’t be all secretive about it. But maybe either Chloe or Jaime did catch a feeling or two while the other didn’t feel the same. I do agree they had a bit of chemistry, but then again it could just be a really close friendship.

Yeah exactly what I was talking about, that chemistry between them. Either way who knows what actually happened behind closed doors. Also I didn’t know about Jamie. Those things I gathered only from rarely going to tweeter and her vlogs

I personally don't think it had anything to do with a fallout over anything romantic between them. But we don't know so it could be possible! I think it's more strange that Jaime and Caitlin haven't hung out, because now they're both in NZ and were friends first. Jaime is clearly hanging out with other friends on Instagram. Idk if maybe she's just taking a break from being on social media so much and that would mean not being on others' channels. They could still be talking but Jaime just doesn't want to be as public?

I just watched Clone in her last vlog, vote on Goodreads choice awards without reading some books, not surprised, and I've noticed she wanted to vote for Spanish deception and Caitlin just told her to vote for another book, so I'm not not really comfortable with Caitlin also, and at one moment she explained Chloe another book with 10 times saying it's "hilarious", so I was hoping she is better but I guess not.
