I grew up in Chesterfield and have lived here for many years. There is not much to complain about, I feel that it's a pretty safe area to live in. I have never felt worried walking around alone after dark and I have never felt worried about my own safety. If there's one thing I'd like to see change, it's the affordability of housing in the area. There's a decent amount of upper- and middle-class people who live here, but you don't see many people from the lower class. Taxes are higher here than they are in Maryland Heights, which is only about two miles away. Overall, Chesterfield is a good place to live.
Chesterfield is a great place to live for younger families. The environment is suited towards those who are looking to start out. Difficulties begin as kids begin to grow older as the town is more suited for that of younger kids.
It's a great town for families. The schools are very high rated and the town itself is very safe. The price of living is a bit on the more expensive side. Jobs near Chesterfield are relatively easy to find
