Fantastic worth the extra money, very nice room, wonderful buffet breakfast & evening meal both were attended by lots of Disney characters. The hotel was so close to the park entrance which saved a lot of time & walking. All the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is any trouble only too pleased to help & realy lovely with the children

This review is for x2 areas of the DISNEYLAND PARIS HOTEL -

1. INVENTIONS RESTAURANT:

This is a character meet and greet buffet style restaurant. We met HOOK, MICKEY, BLUTO, RABBIT, GOOFY. We met each atleast x3 times as we stayed for 2.5 hours. It was great. We had a view down Main Street and could see the castle. This buffet has EVERYTHING (!) - Salads, pasta, roast dinners, king prawns, pâté, desserts of every description. A family friendly restaurant full of Disney magic. Great staff.

2. FANTASIA BAR:

The modern trend surroundings and chilled piano bar is a great place to unwind after a long x14 hour day in the park. We ordered GLOWTINIS (fruity and strong alcoholic drink with a light up cube for €19), & an Iron Man alcoholic drink in a souvenir cup. All are available in cheaper non alcoholic versions for the kids. The staff were friendly and quick to serve. We were allowed to sit on the balcony at the entrance to the park - & could watch the thunder and lightening ! Great experience.

We had a fantastic time in Disney. I had never been to Disney, although my wife and children are all fans, so I thought I would be carrying the bags for our visit. To say I was blown away with the experience was an understatement!

The hotel itself is ideally located, right by the entrance to the parks. This is great as it enables you to make full use of the extra hour - critical if you have a young family like mine (a 4 year old and a six year old). In order ot make use of the extra hour it made breakfast rushed and for this it would be better if the hotel restaurant opened at 7am rather than 7:30am. The hotel staff were fantastic and always a please to deal with.

The hotel room was quite dated and the air conditioning wasn't entirely effective, but you don't go to Disney to spend time in your room - although a King sized bed would be better in the family rooms (the rooms are big enough too so I don't understand why they weren't installed from the outset.

The parks are fantastic, our children loved them - we did the character breakfast on the first morning, which is one of our top tips, as the queues for character meet and greets in the park can be quite long. By doing a character breakfast, this means you can spend longer exploring the park rather than queuing. Fast pass is also another worthwhile investment to avoid the queues, although the fast pass ticket machines seemed to be out of order for a surprising amount of time during our stay.

We hesitated to buy the photo pass but did so and were pleased with the photos we obtained. This is essential if you are going to do the meet and greets as it means you don't have to waste time getting photographs and can just enjoy the encounter. Our children particularly loved the meeting with Snow White - it was a magical moment of our stay.

I would recommend planning your stay to maximise your time exploring the parks rather than queuing - download the Disneyland Paris app and study the wait times for the rides; then use the most popular rides during the extra hour when the Park is quieter.

We stayed for four full days, which was great as we had an extra day to visit the best bits of our stay. Three days is ideal though, if time is limited.

Expect to see and feel magic - Thank you Disneyland Paris

The hotel and facilities are truly excellent, kept clean and tidy, the kids enjoyed seeing the characters in the hotel. Our only minor issue was the service during meals was not particularly good (especially considering this is a 5 star hotel). The reception and concierge staff were very helpful, the location cannot be beaten for park access.

We stayed here for a few days in early August for a visit to the park. To be honest you only stay here for the fast access to the park, aside from that it is very expensive for what is basically a three star hotel. The rooms are a little tired and need to be updated - for example there are limited power sockets for the innumerable gadgets that kids have today. Our shower didn't work properly. And finally there was an ever present smell of nappies, probably unavoidable in this place but not fantastic really. This is our second stay at this hotel and in the five years since we were last here it has definitely gotten worse.
