I lost my uscis receipt number to check my status . How do I get it back?
How do I get my lost receipt number
If you lost the USCIS receipt number for a recently submitted case AND if you paid the fee with a personal check, you may be able to obtain the USCIS receipt number by checking the endorsement on your personal check through your online bank records. I have personally done this for several of our cases and have obtained the receipt number on the endorsement part of the check, prior to obtaining the USCIS receipt.
Unless they'll be able to help you at your local CIS district office where you'll appear on an INFOPASS appointment, you'll have no other alternative but to apply for a FOIA on Form G-639.

Try making an InfoPass Appointment and failing that, do A FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request.
