So when we booked the holiday many moons ago we never expected to be in Ayia Napa….?! COVID has like many others has caused cancellations and holiday changes. We found out we were staying here 2 weeks before we left. And yes….we were a little dubious as the location and some reviews were making us apprehensive. However we had such an Amazing holiday….?! The hotel is clean, modern and very well organised. There is most things that you need and a good choice of food and snacks. The rooms were smaller than the pictures suggest but at the end of the day you mainly only sleep and shower in there. The beds were great (the camp bed for the little one was a little cheap but he slept like a log on it!) and we certainly had no issues. The shower was a little cramped but so hot and powerful! The restaurant was well laid out the food was decent enough. On an all inclusive you aren’t going to get Michelin star food but there was a good choice for adults and kids and it was fresh and warm. The breakfasts had lots of choice too. The staff in there were fantastic….quick to clear and so friendly even with the language barriers. Stefanos and George were brilliant. Check out their Greek Dancing on Sundays!! I would highly recommend the restaurants (need to book early and the day before!) The Greek was a fixed meal and so tasty. The Italian was lush…..very good food and 6 courses. Maria there is a credit to the hotel!! And her staff were brilliant!! The bars were great. The staff were still learning some cocktails but that’s part of the fun!! Good choice of drinks and speedy service again even with language barriers. The pools were great in that there was two. Both were warm and clean. There’s always a risk of not getting a bed by the big pool unless you go early but there’s plenty of beds around the other pool and the grasses area. The location is a little out of the way which is good but 10mins up the main road is a lovely bar (Agrotikon - owner and staff so accommodating!) and a shop. Also the bus stops there and is a pick up point for some trips. There are two beaches….both ace but the one to the right as you look out is a little rocky but free sunbeds and the one to the left as you look out is £2.50 each per item all day. The sea is very clear and sandy floors in the sea!! Would certainly book to go here again especially after our initial reservations!!

We were moved to this hotel last minute, as ours wasn't open. We had no idea what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Our check-in was easy, despite having no paperwork, just word of mouth from Expedia, that they were expecting us. Our room was OK, clean and with a lovely view of the kids pool and the sea. We had full board rather than all inclusive, but drinks were free at breakfast and lunch, only needed to pay for those in the evening. We were also able to use the snack bar. The pools were clean as were the sunbeds and surrounding areas. Water was cold but we expected that. The food was OK, plenty of choice, a bit repetitive but all inclusive is always like that Staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The main areas are spotlessly clean and were always being cleaned. Our room was cleaned well the first few days, but then it got a bit slack. Tea, coffee etc not refilled, beds not made properly and towels not changed. Also the air conditioning didn't appear to work, we had the door open so it was OK, but it would be an issue in August with mosquitoes about. The beach is beautiful, crystal clear sea and white sand. We also walked to Nissi Bay which is beautiful and took about 15-20 minutes. The bus runs every 20 minutes and we went to Fig Tree Bay for 1.5 euros. A lovely hotel. No real complaints and would return.

Stayed Dome beach hotel for the first time with family in May 2022 for 10 days. We all had the best time and could not fault the hotel or staff. 100% will be going back and recommending to friends/family to stay at dome. Rooms were beautiful, spacious and cleaned daily. Food was delicious and had a different choice each night. Great location right on the beach (which is stunning), away from the strip so was nice and quiet but easily accessible by short 5-10 min taxi (10 euro) or 40 min walk. Supermarkets, bars and restaurants just steps away outside the hotel complex if needed. Entertainment- there were various things going on in the day which you could patriciate in and also evening entertainment including tribute acts, karaoke and a magician. Nikos & Maria were the stars of our holiday! Absolutely amazing friendly trust worthy kind hearted people who made our Wedding day perfect and our family holiday one to remember. They both deserve a medal on how hard they work and the passion they put into making the weddings perfect. Please ignore the bad reviews. This hotel really is lovely and so are the staff.

Upon arriving the hotel did not even have our booking so got put into a room overlooking the car park, not the pool view as requested. However this was sorted out the next morning and the room we had was good, but just a disappointing start to the holiday Food was OK, but we felt it was a bit limited and a bit bland to other hotels we have stayed in. This is not a 4 star as billed, its more like a 3 star at best and was a bit dated. However it was in a good location, right on the beach and could always get a sun lounger, however the sun loungers on the beach were chargeable on a weekend, which was rather strange. the staff were friendly enough and we have to say Maria was great. Just a bugbear, when we were sitting outside for breakfast, i did not appreciate the cleaners, literally mopping the floor around us, breakfast with cleaning chemicals is not a good combination There was no entertainment on, it started the week after we left, just to be aware of that Overall we had a good time, but do not think we would come back as there are better hotels for the same money

We were guests to a wedding at Dome Beach and our party (between the ages of 6 – 70 years), used 6 bedrooms for varying lengths of stay. The wedding was on the beach, right next to the hotel and it was a beautiful ceremony. It really is a lovely location for a wedding. Between the wedding and the evening reception we had drinks indoors, but eventually moved onto the terrace outside, where Maria really looked after us and we had a delightful afternoon. The evening reception was held in the beach bar area, where we had buffet and disco. The reception was lovely, and we had a good time dancing the evening away. We were well looked after by Maria and another gentleman at the bar, the drinks were flowing, but unfortunately the buffet wasn’t warm enough. But it was a lovely day regardless. With regards to food, we did not have the opportunity to try the a la carte restaurants, we ate mostly in the main buffet restaurant. Whilst the service was very good, the food wasn’t warm enough, and we thought the evening meals were bland. We chose to eat out sometimes because of this. The hotel has 2 main pools (each pool has a childrens pool also) and we spent a lot of time sunbathing and swimming in these, and a good time was had by all. We also spent some time on the beach, part of the beach had the Dome’s own beds and these were lovely and we really chilled out there, it really was a lovely spot and wish I had spent more time there. Entertainment in the hotel was low key. Ayia Napa is a short bus/taxi ride, we used taxi's and they were quite reasonable. Lot's to do in town and lots of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. There is a shop on site, near reception and they are well stocked with treats, gifts and clothing etc, and were really nice people, there is a supermarket approx 10 min walk away. Unfortunately I had a serious housekeeping issue with my bedroom, although the issue was promptly sorted it made me feel uncomfortable and the lack of apology by Reception really did surprise me. Just sorting out the problem and leaving a plate of fruit and a tiny bottle of wine (which I can get free anyway) in my mind wasn’t an apology enough. The lady from Jet2 was sympathetic and apologetic but I left my holiday feeling quite deflated. Wish food had been hotter! I think this is a fair review considering!

We stayed at the Dome beach for our honeymoon so disappointed the hotel is tired rundown and grubby dirty broken furniture broken glass in doors and the food is so cheap and nasty we ate out . All the food is recycled from one meal to another chopped up Frankfurt sausage in salad from breakfast undercooked eggs and bacon meatloaf and frozen veg water down orange juice .. the list is endless . We booked and payed for a superior room don’t bother it’s no different from any other room in that block . A balcony no bigger then a ledge with dirty broken furniture… a shower held up with tape the wonderful sea view we got was sort of there if you sat in the left corner on the ledge sorry balcony in front the hotel next door and to the left the bins that were emptied every morning around 4 the manager is no help all he keeps saying is my hotel is the best on the island … I beg to differ we could move but he wanted €300 I was paying no more Entertainment is nearly non existent and what there was is poor All drinks served in plastic cups understandable around the pool but not in the bar at night this is not 4 star plus If you leave that hotel be prepared you will need a taxi every time at €10 a time each way Room cleaning was basic sheet pulled up bin emptied but on day 8 it was cleaned properly I always want to add a positive to any bad review so I have 3 it’s on the beach the beds big and the pools are good but the manager is deluded and does not want to do anything to help unless you pay extra and the front desk staff look at you like your mad This hotel is NOT 4 star not even near we won’t be back !!

Food terrible at every sitting Hotel tired and decor dated Limited all inclusive options No entertainment but still advertised Waiters smoking behind the bar and allowing people to serve themselves! We ended up eating out on an all inclusive holiday. Nothing cooked fresh and left to fester in sauces. Ants in the room. Lots of them Mould on fruit Only one restaurant when sold 3 Bed uncomfortable with a blanket and no duvet No water in the room Paid for room upgrade. Had small balcony and a view of the sea. And the generator! Generator noise constant Feel totally, totally ripped off are saving for two years to celebrate a wedding anniversary and birthday. Staff said they don’t eat the food and were winding down as they closed at the end of the week. The only plus is location and staff who made our stay just palatable after not be able to move hotels through BA. Do not go to this hotel if you are looking for a 4 star. Your holiday will be ruined. Don’t get sucked in by the photos. BA selling a duffer! Thank you to Jet 2 Rep for helping. No BA rep but a text number in Croydon!

I will try to give a balanced view on this hotel but there is little to recommend it. The hotel was booked on the basis that it was a 4* with several a la carte restaurants. Two days before going, we were advised that only one a la carte was open. On arrival, it became apparent this was not a 4* hotel. The hotel exterior is run down, dirty and needs a lick of paint. The reception area is dated. The reception furniture had cigarette burns in it. The seats were dirty. There was loud yobbish singing in the bar on the night we arrived and this set the tone. The room was ok, the balcony was the smallest ever seen. The bed itself was so soft we had backache. The food was absolutely awful. I would rate it 2*. Processed battered fish, recycled dishes every day. I was really sick on the second night after eating chicken curry. It was the end of the season and I think they were emptying the freezers. The beach area was nice but the loungers were all battered and dirty. The sea is full of rocks. There is a massive construction site at the port across the water which is the main view. The pool was freezing and unusable. The pool area was sticky with spilt drinks and was never washed down. The view from the side sea view room was of the dirty, mouldy roof below and the sea was just visible, so I think it was a bit of a stretch to call it side sea view. However, the staff were lovely and I felt sorry for them as many people were complaining about the restaurant situation.

I have just returned from a 7 night holiday at Dome beach. I went with a family group for my sister’s wedding. First impressions of the hotel were good, very clean and smart reception area. The staff are exceptional ( and were throughout our stay) . We stayed in a junior suite ( room 65) it was lovely and ideally situated as it was directly by the main pool ( we got sunbeds outside our room and left patio unlocked for easy access during day) . This sadly is where the positive attributes of the resort end. The food was mediocre at best, very basic buffet. Limited choice of food for such a large hotel, desert choices was 3/4 creamy type goop and chopped melon ( both lunch and dinner) . It was not 4 star food by any stretch of the imagination, more 2/3. The drinks were also limited and very weak ( vodka was only 25% rather than 40%. Depending upon which bartender you got as to how much care was shown in making drinks. Everything was served in very thin plastic cups. I would say that the hotel caters for Russian guests mostly, there where more Russian signs than any other language, I would guess that the occupancy was about 70% Russian ( who, on the whole were very rude, pushed in and didn’t care about anyone else) . There was supposed to be 3 speciality restaurants on site but only the Greek one was open, we were only allowed to book it once in the week ( even though it was empty most of the time) the food there was nice ( no menu or choices, they just served up a set menu) This was the best food of the week, if only the buffet food matched the quality of this food it would have matched a 4 star rating. The wedding was beautiful, very well organised and we were all very well looked after by the coordinator throughout the day. My sister got married on the actual beach which was lovely but it was about 38 degrees (3.30 in afternoon) and we were all very uncomfortable by the end of the ceremony!!! ( the coordinator did bring us all a cup of cold water while we waited for photos). The reception was lovely and the food was also very good( of the same quality as Greek restaurant) . Overall the staff were the best thing about this hotel, I paid £1,600 for 1 week’s stay, this is the most I have ever paid for a7 day holiday anywhere in the world. I think that it was only because it was a wedding venue hotel they can get away with charging the hugely inflated prices. Would I stay in this hotel again? Absolutely not, not for the price anyway. If it were a 300/400 pound holiday then yes I would as I feel this would be a fair price for the holiday I got.

First family holiday all together after covid so we were so looking forward to this, Good points: location and outlook across the sea and beach excellent. The effort from staff to help to make my daughters birthday memorable Special mention to the jet2 rep who helped with the minefield of passenger locator form as our nearest holiday rep was in croydon (booked through ba holidays) Bad points: We have been on many all inclusive holidays and sadly this rates as the worst. Totally mis-sold. no where near a four star ( of the weddings we observed there did seem to be maximum effort put in at the expense of normal holiday makers) Only the buffet restaurant was open out of the four. Evening entertainment as on the notice board was absent . The rooms are looking tired and shabby, and for some reason only known to the hotel you get supplied as standard with one bed sheet and a wafer thin pillow, no blanket or quilt or an extra pillow unless you complain and ask for it. We did have ants in the room which we dealt with ourselves. No uk channels on tv and free WiFi is only available in reception ,not as advertised in rooms where you have to pay a supplement The staff were mostly very good and trying their best but there was a vibe that what we had to complain about wasn't the first time that they had heard it and had to deal with it. The food was generally poor to mediocre with tray bake processed meat dishes in some unusual coloured sauces and extremely repetitive, the range of fruit was very limited and bread rolls were dry, you cannot use covid as an excuse for poor food ,you reduce the menu and keep quality high. All inclusive drinks were very limited in choice
