We have eaten lunch here twice. I waited until the second pass to write this just to be sure it was what I thought it was. I am from Texas and have sought a REAL Tex-Mex restaurant for quite some time. After having tried numerous...Mexican restaurants in Jacksonville and beyond I now have a real Tex-Mex winner! This is written just as things are opening back up from the Kung Fu virus. We found the wait staff in masks as all establishments should be, in fact, we bypassed two other ‘first choice’ establishments who were not masked up as required…and I’m happy we did. The lunch menu offers a wide variety of options, including ‘make your own plate’ to suit your individual taste. The chips and salsa are very good and we found our orders to be piping hot and very tasty ala Tex-Mex. The second visit was perhaps even better. The prices are reasonable and the food is great. What more can you ask for?More

Found this adorable, fun little Mexican restaurant by chance. We were looking for.a place to eat and noticed the lights on the outside dining area. It was too cold to eat outside so we stepped inside to a lovely and beautifully decorated restaurant. The wait...staff was so friendly. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. We arrived a bit early for dinner, and I'm glad we did, because when we left the place was completely full and more people were arriving. Aside from the colorfully decorated interior, the restaurant felt very clean and fresh. The small bar seemed to have locals hanging out enjoying good conversation. Several large tvs with a variety of sports and shows running. Nothing too intrusive that would interrupt your meal. Both of our dishes were excellent and very large. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.More

I'm gonna make this short and sweet. Great food, atmosphere and service makes this place a purely pleasurable experience to eat at. Even my grouchy old dad likes it, and goes out of his way to eat here once or twice a week.

Stopped in for dinner. The service was bad, but that is the norm. The food though was poor and tasteless The pork tasted like it was out of a can. The rice was soggy and the beans unflavorful. I would not wast3 your time or...money going here.More

After leaving we were discussing that the food was not good especially for how expensive it was. We looked at the bill and noticed they charged us for queso, that we did not order. They brought it to the table with the complementary chips and...salsa. So we assumed it was complementary too. It was a very small bowl. So I went back in to let them know we didn't order the queso. The first responce was, "ok, do you have the card you paid with." Then the manager stopped and said "Well did you eat it?" I said "yes, but I thought it was complementary, I didn't ask for a $5 small bowl of queso." He just shrugged and said "well, you ate it." So I left disappointed, and not impressed how the handle their business, their customers, and the food wasn't that good, especially for the price.More

We has fantastic meals at Que Pasa! Great service, super friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed. The carnitas dinner had huge chunks of delicious tender pork, sautéed onions, rice, beans and guac salad. We loved the quesatacos de Birra. Corn Quesadillas filled...with tender seasoned beef and melted cheese. The dipping sauce had great flavor. Generous portions, well priced. Crisp chips and tasty fresh salsa. Coke products. I would definitely eat here again.More

What a wonderful experience. The staff was so friendly and always smiling. The queso fundido was so good as were the jalapeño margaritas. I ordered the chicken soup after all the fun stuff and it was great too. Would definitely recommend.

We usually come back to the best restaurant again for our last night on vacation and this was it. The shrimp fajitas were as good as i have ever had and we liked the margaritas. Great food.

There mantra is authentic Mexican. We lean more toward the down home American meat & potatoes meals. That being said, the fajitas were excellent. The service, atmosphere (family feeling staff), and food was outstanding.
