Pros: "I had to make an emergency trip back home ASAP, and China Airlines had the best schedule. It was my first time flying with them, and I was not sure what to expect. Some quick research about safety and traveler experiences - indicated it would be a reasonably safe and comfortable flight. It was - good seats, smooth takeoff and landing, diligent attendants, and meal service was decent (for example - on par with KLM, better presentation than Air India, not as good as Qatar or ANA). I would consider flying with them again."

Cons: "Carry on luggage weighed 9 Kg and they told me I had to remove some things. Suitcase was standard carry-on size, fit well into the display frame. I had plenty of room in the two checked in bags but they had already been processed and moved out on the conveyer belt. Never heard of such as small allowance for carry-on luggage, at least on Delta, United and the other airlines I generally fly. My impression was that this rule was not much enforced since I saw many carry-on bags bigger than mine and judging by the effort I saw when people put them overhead, they likely were heavier than mine."

They were prompt, efficient and very helpful and although my flight was quite full, we left on time and had no issues in the air. I was very pleased with their service and especially as I paid such a low fare through Finn Air, I can't complain. This was a great option to utilise, rather than paying BA's more expensive fares. I would definitely go through this way again."

It has been more than 24 hrs since I landed and I still haven't heard anything from them as to where my luggage was, when I should expect it why it still hasn't been delivered. Cons: ". I was shocked to see social distancing was not implemented with no seats apart and I was in the middle of four seats. If the journey is as important as the destination, then it already failed the minute I was seated in a very intimate setting alongside strangers and seeing the economy class fully booked. The airline defended this by saying they have special economy seats but I complained that this is not equitable since the seats are limited and not everyone could afford an upgrade. Even if they could, the passengers would still be seated side by side and the total number of passengers aboard a tight and enclosed space or load factor is still very high. The airline’s policy was so inconsistent with the very rigid rules of the different government agencies upon disembarkation."

It took also a very long time before we took off. We were told that it was because of the luggage being loaded but it took almost 2 hours before we finally took off. In the plane, there was a man who was obviously intoxicated and was talking in a very loud voice. I think that someone should have spoken to him about his behavior and proper decorum on the plane. Also, the flight didn't have WiFi working on the plane as well (we were told that it wasn't working) and the seat back was broken. I wish that they had told us that ahead of time to manage expectations. I hope that the next flight that I take on Philippine Airlines will be better. I hope that these comments/suggestions will really be taken into consideration so that they can make their service even better because I would really want to use Philippine Airlines again."

At boarding, Instructions over the loudspeaker were not clear and the video screens contained incorrect information about boarding. At one point the agent came out and yelled at everyone to "get out of line!, we are not boarding yet". I have never seen this process handled so poorly and I fly quite a bit."
