About
This natural park nestled in the Riviera Maya of Tulum has four different natural sinkholes: Cenote Wisho, Cenote Campana, Cenote Jaguar, and Cenote Tres Zapotes. They offer a little something for everyone. The smaller cenotes have caves with ancient rock formations, stalactites, and stalagmites, while the larger, deeper ones have several jumping-off points, and allow you to swim and snorkel with the vibrant fishes and turtles. But don't worry if you're not a strong swimmer, entry includes a guided tour and equipment like life jackets and masks. Join a tour of Tulum and combine your trip with a visit to the Mayan Ruins as well.

Was there at 9am when they open, paid 450 Pesos each, had a great time. No Credit Cards accepted at the entrance.

Bring: Watershoes or strap-on sandals, lots of walking over rocks
Optional: a snorkel. They provide lifejackets and facemasks, but no snorkels. Bring a waterproof camera. They have a photographer who can go with you, but it is expensive. We had a waterproof bag for our iphone and it took some nice photos. You can buy the bag for the phone there for 200 Pesos in the gift shop.

They provide lockers and locks to store your stuff while you are in the Cenotes, you just need to give them a 50 Peso deposit, which they give you back when you empty the locker.

We arrived first that day and got to tour the first set of caves with just us and our guide. Water is slightly less warm than the air and very clear. You can see small fish and we saw a small turtle. This is a suitable activity for any age that can still swim and for people who are not petrified of water/caves.

Would recommend to anyone who likes a relaxing outdoor activity and likes natural beauty. They have recently done a lot of work building roads and paths between the different Cenotes on this site, but you don't really want to go barefoot, and flip flops will not work as footwear.

Best excursion on our trip to Tulum. They let us swim around in the beautiful open air Cenote for as long as we wanted after our tour was done. There is a little gift shop and there is a small restaurant that serves Mexican food. Guides spoke English and were very friendly.

We had a great time here! We went to to a couple other smaller cenotes out near Coba which I also recommend doing because the experience is so much different. We bought our wrist bands through or hotel and only paid 400 pesos. Others can pay up to 600 pesos, that is the price advertised on their website, so shop around. The price includes life jacket, mask and snorkel.
This place is crowded! There were around 100 people there while we were there. They put you in a group of maybe 15 people and a guide brings you to each of the 4 cenotes in turn, where you are only allowed a limited amount of time at each one. But it's ok, we were pretty tired by the end of 4 of them. My youngest is 10 and not a swimmer, but with the life jackets he was not afraid at all.
You are not allowed to go into the cave cenotes without the guide, but if you want to, you can go back and visit the 2 open cenotes on your own after your tour is over.
We had an amazing time. We wore water shoes, which I bought ahead of our trip, and we also had our own mask and snorkels that we brought along with us.
A locker is 50 pesos, and you will pretty much need to rent one after you change into your swimming gear.

Cenotes Casa Tortuga now includes 4 cenotes open, two open, two caverns. We had originally planned to go to a different cenote but our taxi driver proposed this, one entry price for 4 cenotes. Seemed like a good deal, and it was! The price includes a tour with a guide of the cenotes, to provides you with some great information and the "lay of the land" for the rest of your stay. The tour provides you with a life jacket and masks for the tour, which you turn in after the tour, but can purchase if you need for the rest of your stay. Our guide, Jesus, was patient with the tour group, about 12 people, including all levels of comfort in the water, and he taught us some mayan words. Following the tour, you can go back and swim at any of the cenotes. If you are hungry or thirsty there is a restaurant and small kiosks that sell fruit and smoothies. It was a great day at Cenote Casa Tortuga!

When you arrive to casa tortuga cenotes, buy your ticket which is 450 pesos per person (either if you want the tour guide or not). We took the option with the tour guide (the gave us a vest and a mask if you don’t have one) and it was amazing!!! You get to visit three different cenotes (inside of different caves) + a big cenote which is on open air.

If you don’t want to chose the tour you can only access to the last one commented above.

To access to the cenotes area you need to walk around 500 m (I recommend either going by car or taxi). You will find a parking, a restaurant (really good), showers, bathrooms and a little shop.

I enjoyed this experience! You are given a life vest and get to swim in 4 different cenotes. For $25 you get the 1 hour tour then after the tour you can swim until closing. Food on site as well as a souvenir shop. Staff was very friendly, funny and helpful. My friend is not a swimmer and panicked going into the cave but the tour guide went straight to him and calmed him, talked him through it and he was able to finish the tour on his own! Excellent staff. Photos taken by photographer were $88 (USD) for the package. The water was super cold as some of the cenotes but tolerable once your body became acclimated. 3 spots to jump. The 3rd cenote has the highest jump and the 4th was the deepest at 45 feet deep. Hold onto your phones/cameras! The 3rd cenote had fish that gave your feet a "pedicure" which was cool to see. Overall, great experience. Would do again!

We are a family group, each of us paid $450 pesos, and included the live vest, googles and locker. You do have to leave a deposit for $50 to use the locker, which they will give back to you at the end of the tour.
The place its beautiful, but our tour guide, Angel, explained NOTHING about the cenotes, absolutely nothing. We could see other groups behind us joking and laughing with their guide, and Angel just tells you to get into the water, cross the cenote, and move to the next one (not kidding).
You should bring your water shoes, and if you don’t is NOT necessary to buy some at the gift shop.
Camera bag its a must, to hang it on your neck, even if your camera/phone is water proof, if you drop it while in the cenote, there’s NOT a chance you can get it back, its too deep.

Just a better attitude of Angel would’ve done our tour so much better.

We had planned to visit different cenotes by the ruins in Coba but our driver recommended these instead and I’m so glad we listened! It was truly a great experience for our entire family. We took a tour and had about 12-15 people in our group ranging from young children to about 60. Tomasa was our guide and did a great job accommodating both the English and Spanish speakers. Two of the cenotes were outside and then the last two were caves. Even though our children were concerned about the caves, they were so glad they went through them.

A few things to note...they only take cash. It cost about $25 US per person. Bring a waterproof case for your cell phone or bring a waterproof camera. You can buy a case at the gift shop for $9 US. The changing areas are small, especially in the women’s bathroom so arrive with your swimsuit. Bring cash for a locker. The guide will collect your shoes at the entry of each cenote and then give them back when you exit. Many people were wearing flip flops. You can wear water shoes if you desire and keep them on. Everyone is required to shower before getting life jackets to start the tour. Leave towels up top. There is plenty of shade in each cenote so don’t be too concerned about rinsing off sunscreen. The water was refreshing but not super cold. Don’t forget to tip your guide! After your tour is over, you can go back to the first two and swim on your own if desired. There is a small restaurant on site (cash only).

We love to snorkel bring our own gear. When we bought a ticket, we specifically said we wanted to snorkel, and were told it was the same price, whether we used our gear or not, so we left ours in the car. When we got ready to gear up they only provided masks. They said snorkels would get in the way. And no fins, which is not uncommon in vegetated or over crowded cenotes. This was big group...15 or so. 3 of the 4 cenotes were caves, with low headroom and narrow passages. Thank God they required life jackets because the level of swimming was not great in our group. There were no fish in the caves, but the 'mites and stone formations were lovely. Would have been better if every one had a flashlight instead of just the guide...very dark at the end of the pack sometimes. We did see a few small bats and a cheesy plaster jaguar stuck in one dark corner. No "tortugas" anywhere, even in the open cenote. Many guppies feeding at the edges, but anemic by comparison to other less expensive and less controlled experiences. Better snorkeling and less expensive at Casa Cenote, Gran Cenote, Cenote Aktun Ha, and Yal Ku. If you don't need a guide or equipment it gets very affordable.

What an awesome experience...! We had heard that the cenotes were a must do in Tulum and with different options we just wanted to have a great time and that we did...! This particular spot had a variety of cenotes that you went through and each one was unique and different. You had the option of going with a group of up to 15 people and a guide or paying extra for a guide with however many people are in your group. We went with the option of our own guide and could not have been happier or more pleased...! Alberto (but he also went by Lucky) truly made our experience one we will never forget.
We took an adventure through 4 cenotes, had margaritas and pizza in the middle of nowhere (or what felt like a very secluded area). Alberto was so great and we all enjoyed our time getting to know him, information about cenotes, the Tulum/Mexican and Mayan culture, and having a morning that we will not forget.

Thank you Casa Tortuga Tulum!

We paid $400 Pesos (September 2020) which included Life Vest, Goggles, and tour guide.

Locker was a deposit of $50 Pesos

There’s a photographer that takes a lot of photos of you during your visit. We paid $50 USD for all 38 photos they took.

The water is so crystal clear! It’s a really pretty place to just visit even if you don’t want to get in the water.

They have a few little snack places there, a few gift shops and a live band at the main meeting place.

We rented a car and drove from Cancun (1hr 20mins) it’s very easy to find, right off the highway.
