We did the because my 11 year old wanted to. He really enjoyed it. As an adult looking to do this I would say save your money. Once everyone gets loaded on you get 3 full turns around. I’d your looking for views, I’m sure there are better and cheaper places.

I knew I wanted to see this attraction down at the pier. I only wish I would have gotten the city pass so we could have done the boat ride as well. The only other two like it in the U.S. are in Niagara Falls and Myrtle Beach.

I didn't want to go on the Great Wheel due to a fear of heights. However, my granddaughter really wanted to ride. We did and I don't regret it at all. The line appeared quite long but went quickly. The view was spectacular. I'd do it again!

This was by far, the best experience of our Seattle trip. The ride is for more than 15 minutes and you get the best views of the Seattle seaside and the downtown. Evening around sunset is the best time to go for the visit. The ride is longer and higher than Singapore Eye and Skyview Altanta.

So glad we squeezed this in. The wait was not long at all- 5 minutes to get tickets and maybe 10 minutes to get into the Ferris wheel "pod". Beautiful views- The are 3 trips around for the price. Take your pictures of the wheel from the ground before getting on, because they disembark into a little mall, bathroom, restaurant, gift shop area.

The wait in line isn’t too long and you go around the wheel around 3/4 times. The whole experience was around 15 minutes. You get to see a nice view of Seattle and the Space Needle.

I tend to like anything that gives a view so I'm a sucker for Ferris Wheels, London, Chicago and St. Louis, so I had to do this one. I will say you do get 4 full rotations as opposed to just one in London and the line does move quickly. I will say of all the observation spaces we visited, we wanted to do one at night. I will say that I would probably have preferred to do the Wheel during the day and another view like Space Needle or Smith Tower at night due to the reflection in the cabin. Still it was great to see the city at night with all its lights on. I will also say waiting in line and watching the sunset over the Olympic mountains was amazing, worth the prize of the Wheel by itself. Also, while you can see the Space Needle, you don't get the best pictures of it from the Wheel cabins. Still it was a fun experience and great to see the city after dark.

Decided to do this on a whim and had a great time! The views are just amazing and we were fortunate to visit Seattle during a beautiful streak of weather. There's an older review from 2019 that gives some great history re: this attraction so be sure to scroll down and check it out. The only thing that gave me pause for concern were the kids running the wheel. I don't think they were old enough to drive themselves there to work. Seriously. Very young! But we rode it anyway and had a blast! :)

My first big touristy place Wheel and it was pretty boring. THat's about it. Boring. Be sure to do the Wings over Washington thing next door, that is cool. Then again, maybe a big wheel is just a nice quiet fun time. not meant to be thrill seeking.

Amazing day with the grandkids down on the waterfront. We all loved the Great Wheel and the views from the top were breath taking. Felt very safe and secure inside the gondolas with the kids moving around to see different views. The rest of the day on the water front was eventful.
