I’ve been backpacking across Europe for the past four months using just a Patagonia duffle bag and a backpack, and I’ve never encountered any issues until now. Today, the airline staff refused to let me board with my duffle bag, claiming it was overweight. They didn’t even weigh it; they simply lifted it and declared it too heavy. Additionally, they are not accommodating my request to check my bag through to my final destination. With only an hour and a half to connect to my next flight, their refusal to help is frustrating. I’ve flown with many airlines, including Ryanair—which has a reputation for being difficult—and even they have never been this rude and unhelpful.…

they weighed my wifes carry on and personal item together at the gate. even though each has their separate weight allowance. hence if your personal item( bookbag) was empty, you should be allowed to move an item or two to it from your carry on, but no. also she was not allowed to remove her refillable water bottle that she just filled up at the water station. are you kidding me!?! thus resulting in her being 3 kilos over and charged her 120 euros to check her carry on bag. how is this even legal. I have been traveling consistently for 20 years and have never had my personal item and carry on weighed together at the gate.…

I booked a flight to Lisbon and cancelled it 10 minutes after because it wasnt the right one, checking first on the support website if it is fully refundable, it says it is. So I cancelled and only got 68€ from 490€. thats also a thing, on the bill it says 480€ and they took 490€!! now they try to scam me and not give my money back. as I was talking with them on the phone they NEVER asked for a booking number, did not check my booking and didnt seem to care at all. Just said I only get a voucher if I want my full money. It explicitly says that you get your money back at the same payment method as used on their support website and I asked them for an email so I can show it to them. they gave me a WRONG email TWICE!! Now I will activate my lawyer. I will never book tapair again and I will advice everyone to not do so either.…
