Flights between India and Qatar

For customers from Qatar (Doha) to India

1. Eligibility to travel to India: Stranded Indian nationals; All Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders holding Qatari passports, and Qatari nationals (including diplomats) holding valid visa issued by an Indian Mission in any category covered under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines dated 30.06.2020

3. As per extant government regulations, customers are permitted to travel to India from the United Kingdom only on a direct flight. Customers shall not be allowed to travel to India through a transit airport of another country. Hence, all customers travelling from the United Kingdom to India via any other/ third country from where IndiGo operates its flight to India, shall not be permitted to undertake travel on such IndiGo operated flight. All liabilities, penalties, costs, losses arising out of such refusal of carriage by IndiGo or proposed travel, shall be borne solely by the customer

For passengers from India to Qatar (Doha)

1. Customer Categories Allowed to Travel
   1. Qatari Nationals, their spouses, children and companions arriving with them on the same flights
   2. Permanent Residency card holders and exceptional return permit holders
   3. GCC Nationals using their passports along with their companions under their sponsorship on the same flight
   4. Foreign Diplomats on mission to the State of Qatar, holders of Administrative IDs and staff of International Organizations
   5. Visitors with personal visit visa issued by Ministry of Interior holding exceptional return permit
2. Visa on arrival is not available and customers seeking the same are not allowed to travel
3. Customers travelling must carry an exceptional return permit allowing them to return to Qatar which will state the type and number of days of quarantine
4. Customers travelling are required to be in possession of a confirmed hotel reservation in one of the designated quarantine hotels for a period of minimum 7 days or as stated in the exceptional return permit issued by the Qatar Government Authorities.
5. The designated quarantine hotels can booked through Discover Qatar before arriving into the State of Qatar
6. Customers are also required to undergo a PCR test on arrival
7. Customer under hotel quarantine will be required to do a PCR test on day six of their quarantine, and according to the test result, customers will be required to follow procedures published on the Ministry of Public Health, Government of Qatar website
8. Exceptional Entry Permit issued for Domestic staff, company sponsored and other workers will state that they need to hotel quarantine for 14 days. Staff must ensure that such customers be accepted in accordance with the hotel bookings as per the requirement stated on the “Exceptional Entry Permits”
9. Customers who have been vaccinated by a WHO listed/approved vaccine (should be in receipt of both does of the vaccine and have completed 14 days from receipt of the 2^nd dose) shall exempted from quarantine requirements upon arrival, however with the below applicable conditions
   1. Customers who are vaccinated with the 2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccine, either from Qatar or abroad (provided that the vaccine is recognized in the State of Qatar - through prior approval from the representative of the Ministry of Public Health in the quarantine cell).  If they arrived before completing the 14-days period from the date of their 2nd dose, they will be allowed to quarantine at home for a period of (7) days or the remaining number of days until completing the required 14-days period, whichever is shorter
   2. Customers who are 75 years and above plus one (1) escort only (living in the same house)
   3. Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers with an infant up to 2 years old and accompanied by a fully vaccinated husband OR immediate relative (living in the same house).
   4. Depending on their medical status, returning patients through Ministry of Public Health plus one (1) escort only (living in the same house), with a prior approval from the representative of the Ministry of Public Health in the quarantine cell
   5. Non-vaccinated children below 18 years of age returning to Qatar alone OR accompanied by their parents who received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. This exception is not applicable if one of the traveling parents has not yet received both doses of the vaccine, in this case hotel quarantine procedures will apply to the parent and children below 18 years, while other parent who has received both doses of the vaccine will be exempted from the hotel quarantine as per earlier instructions, if they wish to do so
   6. In the event of having a family travelling with a member who have received the vaccination, the exemption shall only be applicable to family member/s who have received the vaccination and accompanied family members who are minors and below the age of 16 years. Minors who are 16 years and above and uptil 18 years shall need to undergo hotel quarantine and need to accompanied by one of their parents
   7. Such customers shall also need to be in possession a negative RTPCR certificate issued from one of the approved centers issued 72Hours prior to their travel to Doha. 72Hrs shall be calculated from time of sample/swab collection
10. In case of obtaining a negative RTPCR certificate from a non-approved center or not being in possession of a negative RTPCR certificate, such customers shall undergo the test upon arrival into Doha
11. All customers must fill up two forms and submit upon arrival to the authorities

    2. Home Quarantine undertaking form
