We stayed at the Hotel des Ducs for two nights in June 2022. We had a room in the annex which is a 5 minute walk from the main hotel where reception is located and where breakfast is served in the morning. Initially we were disappointed not to be in the main building but when we viewed our room and found that it was located only a short distance from the main hotel and just off the beautiful main square where the Palais des Ducs is, we were delighted.
The room was modern, newly renovated with wood floors, ample space, A/C, a queen bed with a nice firm mattress, and a large bathroom with walk-in shower. A coffee maker and coffee were provided. Everything was very clean. Breakfast (not included in our room price but well worth the 12 euros pp) was served buffet style in a lovely glassed-in terrace. It included eggs, bacon, sausages, cold meats and cheeses, yogurt, cottage cheese, fresh fruit, cereals, juice, coffee/tea and delicious fresh baked goods.
For other meals there were lots of restaurants close by and the hotel is well located right in the centre of all the sites you want to see when you visit Dijon.
Staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating and spoke good English. An elevator is provided.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Staff is friendly and speaks English. Great location. Room is a little small.
Unfortunately the air-conditioning made loud sudden noises during the night which woke us up multiple times. The staff tried to help us with this, but it couldn't be fixed. We recommend you bring earplugs if you stay here.
Breakfast was okay. We recommend to eat elsewhere because there's so many great places around to have breakfast/coffee/brunch.

Location: in the old town, close to many good Michelin restaurants. Parking on the street is actually easy, but need to figure out how to use the streetside prepay meter.
The apartment: stayed in Saint Veran with 2 bedrooms. Living room had no outside window, but we hanged mostly in the huge open kitchen dining room (with window). The kitchen has all necessary pots and pans and dishwasher. Beds were comfy. Toilet had a washer-dryer inside, and showering amenities also of very good quality. The only problem is that the wooden floor squeaked quite a bit in the kitchen area.
Staff is very friendly.

- : Squeaky bed and noise in the hallways and in adjacent rooms. We paid for the hotel garage for 2 days (€ 13/DAY* on the website, we thought thus for 48 hours). We asked if it was possible to leave the car there until 14h (day of check out) because we arrived at 17h and payed officially for 2 days. This was immediately rejected in an impolite way of the women at the desk without any alternative from her side. So, we would not recommend the parking of the hotel. It’s cheaper to park the car in a garage nearby or on the street. All in all don’t expect to much help from the receptionist (lady).

* They were going to adept the website.

+ : Ok hotel to stay. They adhere very well to the rules concerning COVID-19. At the check in the desired time of breakfast is asked to guarantee the social distancing. Everything was packed or is provide with single use grippers (bread, croissants,…)
The room is not cleaned during your stay due to COVID-19.

The Hotel des Ducs is right in the centre of Dijon and has a variety of room types. We took two of their apartment rooms for our family of five and thought they were very good value. The rooms are stylish and comfortable and are well represented by the photos on the website. The staff were very polite and spoke good English (vs my bad French!). Secure parking is available (though only for a few cars so make sure you prebook this) and the room prices are very good. We spent a similar amount on an Ibis hotel in Beaune and had rooms half the size of these ones.

We stayed again at the Hotel Ducs in the Loft room. The space was clean, comfortable, spacious. The location is the best in Dijon. When we entered the room, there was a strong cigarette smell - the staff brought an ozone machine over to clear the air which worked well. It turned out there is an area below the windows for that room where people smoke and it is a shaft above.
The breakfast is served at the remote location where the check-in is. Note that if a taxi drops you off at check-in and you are staying in the Pres des Clercs building, you have about a 3 block walk to your room. Overall a good experience and we will likely return.

My husband and I spent 3 nights in the Pommard apartment and couldn’t have been more pleased. We arranged for a parking spot in their garage in advance, and while the spots are tight, it was very helpful having a secure parking spot, especially since we were obliged to leave our luggage in our vehicle since we arrived early after driving down from Reims. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of the major attractions. We also spent a day exploring the Route des Grands Crus and it makes a good base for that (just be sure to have a designated driver if you sample the wines). The apartment was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed, including a washer/dryer combo machine, which was very helpful. We had a lovely patio and views of the city and L’Eglise St. Michel. We decided to have breakfast in the hotel, and it was good. We especially liked the kind gentlemen who happened to be on duty at that hour on the days we were there, though everyone was helpful and pleasant to deal with. The breakfast room was bright and modern. We felt that the hotel provided exceptional value for the price and would gladly stay there again.

The hotel is great with friendly helpful staff and very clean smart rooms. The breakfast room and breakfast are modern and well presented with everything you could ask for
The rooms are surprisingly quiet for such a central location in a city . Would really recommend it , a lot better than some of the chains and not a lot more

Thanksto the staff for the outstanding service and support! We stayed 2 nights and after leaving when I noticed I had lost an earring, I immediatedly phoned. The staff was more than helpful, started to search in the room immediately and even in the lift where they found the earring. Can't thank you enough for this great service!

My husband and 3 kids and I stopped here on our way to Courchevel for ski week. It was about a 3.5 hour drive from Luxembourg and it was the ideal spot to stop. Dijon has some great restaurants and some cool sites. We arrived just before dinner, parked our car in the secure hotel garage (it's small so make sure you reserve ahead of time) and left our ski bags in the car confidently. We went out to dinner and then returned to the hotel (which is ideally situated in Dijon) and woke up the next morning to a fantastic filling breakfast. We toured around Dijon the rest of the morning (mustard tour, the square, the cathedral, Starbucks) and then we hit the road to finish the drive to Courchevel the rest of the afternoon. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the garage is convenient and there is an elevator to help with any bags you want to bring up. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. I am not sure you can ask for more!
