A line of locals aren’t wrong! It’s good pizza. The COVID accommodation is to make it pick-up only. Order on-line for faster prep. Very flavorful with a nice crust. I’d suggest asking for extra crispy, ours was a little wet in the middle. Spinach salad...was fresh and tasty, very inexpensive for the offering and enough for two. However, it came sandwiched between two paper plates and wrapped in tinfoil. Up charge by 50¢ and put it in a container guys!More
The wife and I came on a cold Friday night. There was a 20 minute wait for the 2 of us. We walked around a litt.e the hostess at the front are not the nicest. They are more concerned about being on their phones --...honestly they were pretty rude to some people. We got 2 spots up at the bar, it is cash only but an atm inside. My wife and I both had a beer and build your own slice. Our tab was $20 before tip we were happy with the price. The guys working the kitchen were nice, majority of the wait staff acted like they hated being there. Would have given it 5 rating if the staff were a little more professional.More
We heard about this place from friends so decided to try it. We tried calling first to place our order but no one answered the phone (tried several times) so we gave up and just walked there. The crowds were unbelievable and we had to...wait awhile BUT the people were friendly and fun (both the staff and the customers waiting) so it didn't seem too bad waiting. The calzone may have been great but didn't quite make the walk home and wasn't great cold. We enjoyed the pizza though.More
If you travel and look for local places, you can always find those non corporate gems in each city. Savannah is full of them This isnt one. Dont believe the hype or the rating. It's a joke. Mushy crust. Half cooled cheese. Service with a...smirk. Employees answering phones and the face to face hostess told us totally different things. This pizza is by far nowhere near the best in savannah. The place is a hovel and its just an overrated famous landmark. Maybe it was good once, but read the reviews from jan and dec. This place has issues and it starts w the wanna be rock a billy vintage staff. If I want that ttpe of attitude I'll try and buy a tshirt at got topic. Located a the City Market, a pedestrian shopping area within easy walking distance of many historic district hotels. There was minimal outdoor seating so we got our order to go. The crust and sauce is very good. They do no offer a small size and...toppings are rather pricy starting at $1.75 each for veggies and $2.50 for sausage.. Worth a return trip.More
The pizza here is awesome! We were staying at a hotel nearby and ordered take out. The staff was super friendly and it's located in a very nice atmosphere if you wanted to sit outside and eat. I would highly recommend!
Vinnie's was suggested by my hotel for a delivery option. The pizza was good. My only complaint was the menu....very limited. I'm hoping the delivery driver didn't really use a bicycle to deliver the pizza because it was pouring rain. If he did, he was...friendly and polite and it didn't seem to bother him. If you like thin pizza you will probably like this pizza. It always seems busy, so if you can get seated on the patio, I would recommend! Otherwise, step up and order your slice and about 15-20 minutes later they will call your name to...come back to pick up. There's usually seating around the square area where you can sit down and eat.More
We waited for 20 min to get to the take out window. The 3 people ahead of us spent a very long time asking questions and deciding what they wanted. We were not in a hurry so it didn't bother us. Once we got to...the window we began to order our pizza but was told some toppings were not available, we made changes and continued to order. Knowing somethings were out of stock my wife asked which draft beers they had, to which, a very rude, nasty and ugly girl to the right of the nice person taking our order yelled at my wife "it's right in front of you ma'am" and proceeded to roll her eyes as if she was frustrated at the question! I told her there was no reason to be nasty and she should consider being nice! She said if you don't like it you can leave! What a rude and horrible way to be treated! We took her up on the offer and left totally shocked and amazed at how she treated us. There are many hard working young people at the restaurant and it's a shame this person has such a bad personality! She should consider a job in which she doesn't have to deal with people. I'm sure many would appreciate not dealing with her and her horrible attitude. Maybe the owners will see this and take note!More
We come here every time that we visit Savannah and this time was no different. Their pizza is so good! We had to get it to go since the virus has everything shut down, but our hotel was just down the block and it was...no big deal. We had to wait in line to order, but they were cranking pizzas out really quickly, so the wait wasn’t bad at all. The staff was really friendly. We got a large one with pepperoni and mushrooms, there was not a crumb left in the box. My favorite go to place in Savannah!More
You know that hole in the wall pizza place that feels like a well worn pair of jeans? This is the place! New York style pizza that is straight up on point! Crust is perfect, toppings and sauce are first rate. Draft beer or “Spodee...O dee” slake your thirst. And the ambiance takes you back to that favorite dive bar back in college. Recommended by trolley tour, walked by to try to get a slice. They taped new closing hours to virus OVER operating hours. I opened UNLOCKED door and worker grabbed door, closed in my face, and said we open at 4. Need a strong lesson in...customer service. Don’t care how good pizza is, don’t treat potential customers that way.More
When you need a break from seafood, this is a great spot! The pizza is made to order so what you get is fresh and hot! We were going to order a few slices, but decided a pie would be better. I read the reviews and I would not classify this restaurant as a tourist trap. I had the Calzone and truly enjoyed it while my wife had pizza and thought it was fine, although not the best she has ever had. The cheese in the...Calzone was delicious and very chewy. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed an the wait staff was attentive. NOTE: only cash is accepted and they do have an ATM machine on site. We didn't use it so I can't say if there were any fees or how much.More
