Since being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness in the year of 2015, my life has become a roller coaster of emotions as I fight daily with setback after setback, with little to no hope of recovery. Although I have not received the physical healing I long for, I continue my journey with a deeper resolve to be more than just a patient to those around me. My hope is that you can find encouragement and perhaps a model of how to suffer well in the midst of the hopelessness you may feel. As Jesus had to drink from the cup of suffering given by Father, so will we be given our own cup of suffering. This book is for those of us who cannot yet celebrate a tangible victory but are learning to find joy while chasing hard after life.
