Micky Ward Wife Charlene Fleming and Entire Family Members

Micky Ward married Charlene Fleming in 1999 and has been with her since then. Charlene is his second wife, while his first spouse remains away from the media.

Irish's story with his first spouse was not covered in the 2010 movie, nor any reports on it have come so far in its sequel. "The Fighter 2" is currently in production, which will showcase Micky's rivalry with Gatti.

Actress Amy Adams portrayed Ms. Fleming as a witty yet supportive person in the movie, synonymous with Charlene's real-life characteristics. 

Charlene Ward attended Douglas County High School (DCHS or DC) in Castle Rock, Colorado. She was a collegiate athlete at the University of Rhode Island.

She was a part of the women's indoor track team as she was the top name of the uni's invitational list in 1996. Fleming stood at 5 feet 11 inches and excelled in the 1.81-meter high jump.

However, she dropped out of college soon after and worked as a bartender and part-time waitress. She met Micky and got into a relationship with him during her work.

The two wedded soon after, and Charlene often attends boxing events with her hubby. They were seen together at LA's "K.O. Cancer" on April 6, 2011.

Micky was awarded "The Hope Award" from "City of Hope" for his inspirational community work at The Beverly Hilton Hotel then.

Micky Ward is a father to one daughter named Kasie Ward. She was born on June 20, 1989, in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Meanwhile, he is an uncle to many children of his seven sisters and one brother.

Kasie went to Nashua High School South in New Hampshire and later attended Middlesex Community College in her hometown.

Ms. Ward continues to reside in Lowell with her dad and whole relatives. She attends many family events and travels around with her dad.

The father-daughter duo had gone to Fenway Park in Boston in May 2012. Micky often shares photos of his adventures with Kasie on his Facebook.

After the divorce of Micky and Kasie's mom, the only daughter of the boxer decided to stay with her dad.

Kasie is active on Twitter, where she usually tweets about fun moments involving her father. She has grown up to be outgoing and likes to party out and click selfies.

Micky Ward comes from a prominent family in Lowell. Most members of the boxing clan were involved in his career. 

"The Fighter" mainly cornered the Irish's connections with his parents and siblings. Micky's wins and losses in the ring gravely affected his household.

However, they all realized to put family first to motivate each other, which paved the way for Micky's success.

Father George Ward

George's involvement in Micky's boxing career was a focal point in the movie. Ward senior had put his son on strict training without the influence of Micky's brother and elder brother, believing they were bad influences on him.

In the movie, he can regain Micky's confidence to fight after the latter is heavily beaten down in an undercard fight. Actor Jack McGee portrayed George in the 2010 biographical sports drama.

The real George passed away on November 7 morning in 2011. He was described as the best father to his nine children and stepchildren.

Mother Alice Eklund-Ward

Alice Eklund-Ward was described to be a no-nonsense person. She was one of the few women who managed boxers during her time as a manager for both her sons.

She was portrayed by Melissa Leo, who bagged an Academy Award, a Broadcast Film Critics Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award, all in the category of Best Supporting Actress in 2010.

Melissa and Alice connected over the roles, and they became instant friends. Alice passed away in April 2011 after a lengthy battle with many health conditions. She had initially suffered a heart attack followed by a stroke. 

The matriarch was then put on life support but lapsed into a coma, which ended her life, reported People.

Half-brother Dicky Eklund

Dicky Eklund, alias "The Pride of Lowell," fought from 1975 to 1985. He is a two-time USA New England welterweight champion, making him Micky's trainer after retirement.

He has a professional career record of 19 wins, four by knockout, and 10 losses. Both grew up under the care of their mother despite having different fathers.

However, Dicky initially struggled with substance abuse and went to rehabilitation. The two brothers now run a gym and train young boxers in New England.

They also travel around the U.S. to give motivational speeches to college students.

While Dicky is the most notable sibling of the former 1997 IBF light welterweight challenger, he also has seven sisters. All of the ladies were featured in the movie.

Elder sisters Cindy "Tar," Little Alice, Cathy "Porky," Phyllis "Beaver," Donna Eklund Jaynes, and Gail "Red Dog" Eklund were born to Alice and her former husband. Meanwhile, Sherri and Micky are the only two kids of Alice and George.
