Friends Of Music Concerts is a volunteer nonprofit organization in its 70th year of dedication to advancing chamber music in Westchester County, New York. We host concerts featuring artists of the highest caliber at convenient local venues at attractive prices; engage professional groups to provide masterclass educational experiences in local schools; and subsidize scholarships for talented but needy music students.

We hope you’ll help our efforts by considering a donation and by participating in our Facebook group to help spread the word. Of course, we also hope to see you at all our future events.

Partnerships In Education Program Offers Local Schools Free Master Classes

Through its grant-funded Partnerships in Education program, Friends of Music Concerts, Inc., has sponsored one-day residencies of young professional musicians at several Westchester County schools during the 2023-24 season. Following performances for and with the students, they then conduct master classes. Read more here … and here…

Our scholarship program, completed its second season supporting classical music education for local area students

The Board of Directors is pleased to draw your attention to the Susan R. Harris Scholarship Fund, a recently begun program to give young people in the community the opportunity to appreciate classical music with a view toward building audiences for the future. Read more here …
