Cannot verify the server certificate

Lost my phone running Android 12 so I had to reactivate my old phone running Android 10. I installed NPW and when I went to sign in, I keep getting "Cannot verify the server certificate" at the login screen and it shuts down. I spent an hour with a rep last night but he was not able to help.

I saw another post from a couple of years ago suggesting I update "Android System Webview" which I did, it did not help. Webview is not enabled, and the enable button is grayed out (maybe because I use Chrome on the device). I rebooted, downloaded Webview from the Play Store again, etc. 

Any help much appreciated.

PS Here is a screenshot of the error (taken with my tablet because the phone won't let me take a screenshot due to some security policy which I cannot get around).

We have implemented a fix last week for this error. Could you please check again. Uninstall/reinstall of app will clear cache. Try installing fresh and let me know the status.
