Whatever ever name this racino uses to promote itself it has never risen to the level of fun or service that I have expected or my friends expect. We've simply crossed it Off the list of places to go. In fact before considering going here any other options is a better choice. Caesars should be embarrassed to be associated with this property. Of course a mildly aware person would be aware gambling and losing can be a experience that occurs. This casino after a few visits I went expecting to lose. That is unacceptable. When most customers faces I saw appeared to exhibit apprehension and caution I knew this wasn't a place worth the risk. I experience a far better experience and outcome at other competing casinos throughout Ohio and neighboring states. At least Eldorado Ceasars has earned a well deserved reputation for being cheap and classless where gambling feels like going to work with no expected benefits. No Thanks! I Pass.

I play at Eldorado maybe 3 times a week. Every time they change names (owners) the machines get tighter and tighter. I really enjoy this place but I feel the machines do not pay out as well as they should. I also feel that unless your a black card or a high player you do not win or hit as much. I feel that when I do not use my players card, I hit more often.

I have tried to like it but NOPE! The staff I will say are very friendly and helpful. The free play and wins are nonexistent. I know about the RNG and theirs is clearly broken. Dirty cups sitting everywhere and masks come off as soon as people come inside. I will stick with Hollywood where I at least get $20 a week free play and it doesn’t smell like rose perfume and mothballs.

Our senior citizens center went to the Racino. They have a very nice buffet with a good selection of items for guest. Grill items, steam table, carving station, and a selection of 4 different types of pizza. Also a nice salad bar with shrimp, and a dessert station. On Wednesday the buffet is half price for seniors.
The Racino has a large selection of slot machines that are changed often for newer versions. There are no table games. Only slot machines. On Wednesdays starting at 11 am till 30pm, they award 50 dollars in free play every 15 minutes to players 50 years or older. They know who is playing by the members racino card that are in the machines. A place where you can relax play some games and have a good meal.

Been going for 11 months, haven't hit anything. Unless you bet high, you can forget about winning there. No free giveaways, always have to earn certain amount of points on that day. Never accumulate anything for free meals. Bonus money, is sad. Worst place ever.

The casino was not impressive, compared to other casinos we visited in Ohio and Indiana. If you have asthma, the disinfectant they use on their ugly carpet will trigger an episode with someone with breathing issues. Too many 1 cent slots.....and the casino was uncomfortable due to heat. Ice machines were out, 1/2 staff we had contact with were unfriendly. The restaurant in the casino (Brew Brothers) was very good, though the bar tender was working alone and was overwhelmed. People were complaining around us, WAITING to get drinks. We will not be returning to this Casino

Say what you will... Ever since the casino changed to new ownership (Ceasars) the chances and odds of winning have become very very poor. Even if you do hit a bonus, say on a $5 bet... you may only win 2 to 3 times your bet.
The trash outside just keeps piling up. Garbage cans overflowing, cigarette butts and masks everywhere. The place is just dirty and has become a money grab!
It is no longer a desirable location for fun or any chance of winning. Sorry, just saying it like it is.
To clarify I have been a dedicated patron for years, but something has changed. The smart customers know it as well at casino management. Chances of winning have diminished greatly.
Plus they have the same old games with very few new ones to play over the last 2 years. Travel to Miami Valley Gaming for better odds and better chances off winning!
I will not return. Period.

While being at the casino I have had two machines eat my money (2 different days) and when I called the attendant over it takes about 40 minutes for anybody to come and another 25 minutes to get information for the corporate office.
To be told that I have to come back another day after they have had time to review the cameras which supposedly takes 24-48 hours to do so. They were able to see were I put $20 in, the time, and the slot machine screen said so also. Today is a Sunday and like most people I have a job and work Monday through Friday. Last thing I want to do after work is drive 30 mins to the casino to get my money. All for $20. I will be back to get my money, and will never return. Do yourself a favor and go to Hollywood casino.

Unfortunately, 95% of these types of disputes come back without merit. While we did try and reach out in a timely manner, it can sometimes take a couple of days. In your case, audit was able to find the additional $20 that was not recorded on the credit meter. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope you will give Scioto Downs another try again in the future.

thee security there is very rude i use to go there everyday and spend $200-$500 daily n one night me and a lady had words that was head of security that night and she escorted me and my wife out and said dont come back for 24hours cool i thought whatever. well i returned a few times after that to having a ok night there amd no drama.But i went back by myself one morning at 5 am and the lady i got into it eith came up to me and said i am banned for life i never received a letter to why and when i asked her and the gentlemen she said it was from the upper management and i should of got a letter and i never did i feel like she is holding a grudge on me and that morning she was probably working with her butt buddy and told him about the argument we had and he backed her in telling me im banned forever cause still no letter and i been there since and no one said to leave but when she is on shift she is at my throat do am i banned or what ans WHY

Nice casino and it seems throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Indiana there are a lot of casinos that are pretty much the same. Same slots you see everywhere. Once insid the casinos they all pretty much look the same. I base my rating on how well they pay off. Going to one in one city is just like going to a different one in another city or state. This one was average in payouts. Not real tight and not loose either. You could get some small wins while playing. It wouldn't just eat all your money spin after spin, but don't expect to walk out with much more than you came in with. At least you can play a while on your money.

That I do not know, there is a number for the Casino on their Website that you can call, they always answer. I used my freeplay tonight and came home with cash and didn't spend any of my own money!! So fun there!

We did not go to the Buffet, we ate at a restaurant that was good and reasonably priced inside the casino. And the answer above may also be correct, I saw no children in the casino!

Does Eldorado Gaming Scioto have free wifi? While in this slot casino, my iphone does not make/receive calls/texts nor access internet, unless I step outside the building. 🙁

No free Wi-Fi but agreed. I have straight talk with Verizon I have good reception my mom had AT&T now sprint her phone don't work as well
