Truck Driver Class A in Groveland, FL

on June 7, 2023
Good pay when the miles are there, easy to communicate with dispatch and other office/shop personnel, equipment is very well maintained for the most part. Lots of drop and hook depending on the region you’re in. Always got me home on time and had a load ready for me when I came out. Would definitely go back if I decided to go back over the road.

Do not work for this company. You work hard, and when you quit and are waiting to get paid, it doesn't happen because they don't pay you. I am still waiting for the orientation money. It's been two weeks, and there is still nothing.

What is the best part of working at the company? No miles. Struggle to get 2000 miles a week. Low pay unless you live in Florida. Staff is VERY dismissive, most times. I would not recommend if you are looking to make money to take care of family. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Low pay. Not enough miles. Too much waiting around

Interview Questions

None. However, they use in-cab facing camera's. First day of orientation senior safety officer will tell you "since we live in a day and age we can no longer trust drivers CF will use these camera's." He further stated when questioned "do you honestly think I have the time in my work day to go through all the in-cab video's from all of our drivers?" My reply? Yes I do. That information is not subpoenaed info, its inside CF property (the trucks) you can get it all day/long without a judges signature. Trust is a two-street. I trust them as far as I can spit...I don't spit. On the camera's...you will be monitored inside that truck and it has nothing to do with million dollar lawsuits for traffic accidents, that is the company by-line.
