Biography
Carol J. Henning was born in California[1]and she was the daughter of Wilbur Fiske Henning and Nellie Gould Bowen. Carol was living at 2953 Jackson in San Francisco when she married John Steinbeck. It was the first marriage for both of them.
When they divorced, she remarried on 19 Jan 1952 to William Brown. She died in Monterey.[2]
