Official: Juventus fan favourite Pinsoglio extends contract - Football Italia

Juventus have officially extended the contract of third-choice goalkeeper and locker room favourite Carlo Pinsoglio to June 2025.

The 33-year-old came up through the Bianconeri youth academy and had numerous loan spells over the years with Pescara, Vicenza, Modena, Livorno and Latina, but since 2017 has been a regular in the squad.

That is despite barely setting foot on the field, making just one appearance per season over the last five years.

Yet Pinsoglio is a favourite among the fans and especially his teammates, who consider him a key figure in the dressing room dynamics.

The statement on the club website about the contract reflects that, noting “at a time when being Juventini means even more comes the contract renewal of one who has always been Juventus through and through.

“Pinso embodies the Juve spirit with his energy, encouragement and positive approach. And then let’s not forget his contribution between the posts, in training and when called on during the match.

“Carlo is a fundamental presence in the Bianconeri dressing room and we are happy that he will continue to be so.”

He also became very close friends with Cristiano Ronaldo, who a few months ago it was rumoured wanted to coax him to Al-Nassr FC.

Pinsoglio’s current contract was due to run out on June 30, but he has now signed on to June 2025, so hopes to remain a mainstay of the Bianconeri squad and bench.
