Bad news for fans of love: Ashley Benson and Cara Delevingne quietly broke up in early April, multiple sources have told People. A source told People that there was no big drama that led to the split. Their spark just faded out: "Cara and Ashley always had their ups and down before but it's over now," the source said. "Their relationship just ran its course.”
The outlet was told by a source that Delevingne has been quarantining with her friends Margaret Qualley, Rainey Qualley, and Kaia Gerber during the coronavirus pandemic. Benson and Delevingne have not confirmed the split themselves and for the time being, still follow each other on Instagram.
The two were first linked romantically in the spring of 2018. Back in December, Delevingne shared a gushing post to Benson in honor of the actress's 30th birthday.
"Happy birthday @ashleybenson There is so much I could say but something I love and cherish most about us is that I don’t need to because YOU KNOW and that’s all that matters. It’s you and me which is my favourite. My safe place. You let me be silly, you let me be wild, you keep me free, secure and curious. I feel like I’ve known you my entire life and I am so proud of watching you grow into the woman that you always dreamt of being. I love you beyond words my sprinkles, choonchi, angel face, grumpy ass, sweet cheeks, never boring, buttmunch, Benson ❤️❤️❤️❤️"
