Website Will Update the Community on Major CDTA Projects

ALBANY, NY (September 9, 2022) The Capital District Transportation Authority has launched a new Capital Projects website to keep riders and the community informed on major projects to improve services, upgrade assets and facilities.

People are now able to go to https://projects.cdta.org/ for the latest Capital Projects CDTA is working on. CDTA is committed to working with municipal partners to provide the Capital Region with a range of high-quality and efficient transit options as part of our transportation network. We believe it is necessary to keep our customers engaged and informed as we progress on these projects. The website has information, maps, and pictures to help people learn how CDTA is driving the region forward. We invite you to browse the site and learn more about the projects happening in your neighborhood.

Most recently, work is being done on new, dedicated bus lanes to access the Harriman Campus, as well as a one-mile dedicated bus lane that goes through the heart of the University at Albany campus for the third Bus Rapid Transit line, the Purple Line. Also, under construction now for the Purple Line are improvements to existing stops along the route and installing new shelters.

Keep up with all the projects CDTA has going on in your community at www.cdta.org and https://projects.cdta.org/
