So between 9th and 11th and Capital are pretty much 4 places. 9th Street Tavern & Grill, Capitol Nightclub, and DJ's Dugout, and you could include Nosh in there.

In any case, all of these places are average. DJ's is a sports bar that serves above average food and tall beers in disappointing plastic cups.

The 9th Street Tavern is average food and poor beer selection, no crafts on tap last time I was there.

Capital Nightclub is only fun if you get VIP, otherwise the standard crowd is a bit ghetto, to the point that the police usually have officers posted outside, because someone is getting arrested at some point, guaranteed.

Nosh is ok, but not great, service is ok. I like knowing a bit about the wine to help me determine if I want to try it. The flavor profiles they provide are not great. I'd like to know where it's from, maybe a little something about the winery, but none of this is available. Part of the wine tasting experience is to know a little something about the Vintner.

Spent about 2 hours today at "The Art of the Brick" at 'the Capitol District'. It is an excellent display of about 80 Lego sculptures by Nathan Sawaya. It is a traveling exhibit and more info can be found under the NYC exhibit but I would highly recommend any Lego fan to go see this soon, it will be in Omaha for just one more week.

The Capitol District is always a fun atmosphere and provides amazing service to their customers. There are many family-friendly restaurants, along with nightlife options for adults. The Capitol district often hosts specialty events including live music, concert pre-parties and holiday celebrations. I would highly recommend checking out the Capitol District to see what is new, as more restaurants and bars are constantly opening!

Annie’s and Beercan Alley were great bars & good service. We had looked before we went and it said Capitol District was open. We took the kids with us for the splash pad. We got there, and the splash pad was not on. No one knew who to call or when/if it would come on. I called the Capitol District phone number 4 times and no answer. If you’re going to have a splash pad, at least advertise what hours it will be open. Poor management.

The Capitol building is one of the most magnificent we have seen through several states. There was s free tour which went for about 30 mins highlighting the history, art and architecture of the building.
