Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000, known as カプコン バーサス エス・エヌ・ケイ ミレニアムファイト 2000 in Japan and shortened to Capcom vs. SNK, it is the third game released within the SNK vs. Capcom series and Capcom's first-produced game. Originally released in 2000 for arcades, it is a crossover fighting game that features several characters from both SNK and Capcom's library.

Gameplay

Capcom vs. SNK functions as a 1v1 fighting game, utilizing SNK's trademark 4 button format. Characters are decided via the "Ratio" system, determining the character's overall strength. A player can choose up to 4 characters to play in a match, but the total amount must not exceed 4 (eg. 4 1-Ratio characters, having 2 2-Ratio characters, 1 3-Ratio and 4-Ratio character, etc.)

Additionally, players can also select between a SNK Groove and a Capcom Groove for their meter. The SNK Groove functions identical to The King of Fighters' Extra Mode whereas Capcom Groove functions identical to Street Fighter Alpha's A-ISM.
