Q:
I hear parking is free. Is it 1 parking space per room? I have a group of 4 renting one room but we will have 2 cars. Do we still get parking for the second car?
A:
I believe you can park 2 cars. You need to call and verify that. Parking can be tough there. The later in the day you arrive, the harder it is to get a spot. You definitely have to let them know if you have more than one car. They give you a parking… more

What is the difference between their continental breakfast and the in-room breakfast service?
A:
Premium rooms, which are a bit larger and cost more, receive the breakfast delivery service. Guests select from a list which breakfast items they wish to receive and the delivery time. Selections are the same as those found in the continental… more

I love this place. The front office people are all kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. I never sleep very good away from home and slept like a baby.
The breakfast is really nice with many choices and opens early to be able to get to Disneyland early, however, not early enough for people going to the early morning at Disneyland.
The shuttle is convenient and never have to wait long. - Michelle S.Walnut Creek, CA20717545611/9/2017
Candy Cane Inn will always give me nostalgia. I stayed here many, many times when I was a kid with my family and every so-often when we make a trip to Disneyland or visiting the Anaheim area.
The location is great for those visiting the theme park. It's about a 10-12 minute walk to the park entrance. The rooms are decent-sized, clean and the overall Inn is family-friendly. The cost is reasonably priced, however its not the cheapest, but compared to many of the other motels/hotels within the block, it's definitely worth checking. They do offer continental breakfast (bagels, toast, eggs, cereal, fruits, muffins/donuts) daily near their pool and the many times we stayed here, the staff has been helpful and friendly.
I am a fan of staying here when going to Disneyland! - Liz W.Houston, TX1120210/17/2019
Five star reviews are rare and I hesitate to leave this 5 star review because I don't want the secret to get out about the Candy Cane Inn.
The staff is top notch; courteous, friendly, kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. This combination is incredibly rare and is greatly appreciated.
The grounds are beautiful and tasteful. Flowers, trees, a pool and hot tub, and parking is right in front of your room. Nice places to sit and chat outside in the sun or shade.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and the showers have excellent water pressure. The towels are soft and luxurious. The rooms are also quiet! The walls and floor are thick and you don't constantly hear your neighbors (unlike at other hotels).
The shuttle to Disneyland is a godsend.
I feel like the management of this hotel has incredibly high standards and is demanding of the staff - I also feel like the staff must enjoy working there because they seem so happy to be working there.
I hope to return soon. - 21317225277/23/2019
I have stayed here so many times in the past 21 years that I have lost track! The Candy Cane Inn has never let me down either. I mean my kids grew up staying here practically every time we went to Disneyland. The few times we didn't stay there was due to late planning on my part. It's always so convenient that it is located right down the street from Disneyland. It's right on Harbor Blvd so it's easy to find. It's part of the special feeling we get every time when we get off interstate 5 and head south on Harbor. It's kind of got the feeling of a second home. I have always been happy with our accommodations there. The rooms are always nice and clean. The staff is always super friendly and very helpful. They can answer any questions you may have too. The only thing that can be an issue is parking. Over the years as Disneyland has gotten more crowded, the parking lot at the Motel seems to have gotten more crowded too. So try checking in around 3. That way you can easily find a parking spot. They have an amazing continental breakfast too. Nothing like the good ol' cereal bar to bring a smile to your face. They have way more than that though. Lots of good, healthy choices. It's a very short walk to the park from there too. That is a huge plus. But, they still have their own shuttle to take you back and forth. That's always nice to have after a long day a the park.

Visit 7/18-7/20/17:
This place did not disappoint! Spent two nights here to go to California Adventure. Wish I'd had time to relax in the pool or try out guest laundry, but that'll be for another time. My room smelled strongly of bleach and cleaning chemicals the first night but it was fine the second night... besides, this room was spotless!
Features:
*TV
*fridge
*iron and board
*small safe for valuables
*pretty substantial breakfast
*shuttles throughout the day to the parks
I have nothing to say that hasn't been said before EXCEPT... this place has an awesome view of the 9:30 fireworks at Disneyland if you aren't planning on being in the park at that time. Simply go up to the second floor balcony part that faces north and enjoy! : ) - Traver F.El Cajon, CA1136511312/1/2019
This is by far the best hotel in Anaheim. Nay, it's the best hotel in the whole country.
Free parking until the evening of the day if check out. Many others offer free parking but you have to move your car by checkout.
Free breakfast. Many others have this but there is no better breakfast at any hotel anywhere. It's absolutely fantastic. A wide assortment of donuts, muffins, croissants, cheese cubes, eggs, yogurt, bagels, cereal, various coffees and creamers, and so much more. And the quality of the food is first class.
Reasonable rates and super close to Disneyland.
Did I mention the hot tub? It's the perfect thing after a busy day at Disney. I love to go soak my feet.
The rooms are clean and modern, I've never had a problem here through all the times we've stayed. It's by far my number one choice. - Eden S.Los Angeles, CA112322596/29/2019
Stayed here for one night because we had reservations for Star Wars Land two days in a row.
This hotel is located within walking distance of Disneyland so we didn't have to worry about the parking lots getting full even though we're AP holders.
Upon arrival, the staff were very friendly. The room was spotless although I was surprised that we had a fridge but no microwave. The beds were comfortable and I'm always hesitant about staying in hotels because of bed bugs but I had no worries here.
We took the shuttle to the parks but I think it's about the same amount of time waiting for it and just walking. When we left our room to go to the parks, I was concerned about the parking situation at the hotel. I noticed that many of the spaces are small and some people have a difficulty staying within the lines of their space. We got lucky and found a spot under a tree that only had one car on one side.
We took advantage of the continental breakfast. They had doughnuts, bagels, ham and cheese croissants, hard boiled eggs, cheese, and cereal as well as juices, hot chocolate and coffee/tea.
I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who goes to the parks or anywhere in Anaheim. - 782329121910/22/2014
Love this little place! First of all I saw a guy complain in here that it's too noisy, really, hahaha! Bro this is a hotel with Disney next door with a shuttle to go to Disney so of course it's gonna be loud at times with kids, this is not a damn library guy! If you want peace & quiet then go stay in "A Van down by the River!". This place is great! The staff is friendly & good at what they do. And the FREE Continental Breakfast is awesome! Love that they have a free shuttle every 15 to 30 min to Disney & back, saves time & feet pain, thanks.
The rooms are nice & cozy & the kid & adult pool is very nice, they also got washers & dryers here. And a lot of food places walking distance, a 7-11 as well. They got a iron in here which is a plus for me, I hate wearing wrinkle clothes in public. This place is also very affordable. We come to Disney 3 times a year & for the last 3 years we have come here to stay every time & we love it & won't go anywhere else. I highly recommend this place! - Cody N.Morro Bay, CA0317/5/2019
Amazing price for location
Amazing complementary breakfast
Very close to the park about a 10 minute or less walk
Amazing workers
The pool and the lobby and the rooms and everything are really clean and tidy
Everything about the place is amazing and the location you can't beat you won't regret staying at this hotel! - Vanessa L.Woodland, CA2021/20/2020
This is my favorite place to stay in Anaheim. I just finished up my 2nd stay and cannot rave enough about this place. I love the complimentary shuttle to take after long days at the park. We found the walk to the park easy and were able to do it in 10 minutes!
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast spread. I seriously cannot say enough great things about Candy Cane Inn. They even give a return guest certificate for money off your next stay. How cool is that??
