Loved everything about this place ! Customer service was excellent from the front desk to the maintenance & Cleaning crew! Rooms were clean & well maintained. Swimming pool and hot tub were a great break from Disney . Breakfast delivery to the room was a great perk & even stopping by the dining area was a nice experience as well.
This is definitely our go to stay for our Disney trips. I cannot recommend it enough !
Thank you candy cane inn! My family can't wait to be back! We've already have 2 rooms booked up for the end of year !Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 26, 2023
5+ stars for the Candy Cane Inn! We stayed here during a visit to a special Disney event. Everything went so well for the entire visit. The front desk staff warmly greeted us and got us checked in right away. The location is super walkable if you're wondering if its a good place to stay during a stay at Disneyland.
When we got back to the room, we noticed the bed was super comfortable, and the room was very, very clean. When we forgot a toothbrush, we were able to get supplies in the lobby.
But the real star of the show was the front desk gentleman who helped us get my jacket back. When I got home, I realized that my jacket was left hanging in the closet. I called in, and the item was logged into the lost and found. For just the cost of mailing, the hotel mailed the jacket back to me so I didn't have to drive down to Anaheim.
There is nothing more nice then to notice when people go above and beyond for you by choice. Thank you Candy Cane Inn for making this a nice stay and also really showing us that you care about guests!Helpful 9Thanks 1Love this 5Oh no 1 - Feb 20, 2024
Late review; my little family of 3 stayed at the candy cane inn for our daughter's 1st birthday for her first trip to Disneyland and we LOVED the candy cane inn! The customer service was amazing! The inn and our room were super clean and I couldn't have been happier! For the price, free parking, a breakfast buffet, clean room, and a 10min walk to Disney, I would say WORTH IT!

This review is for the remodeled Candy Cane Inn. I started staying here back in 1998. 25 years ago? Wow! I will say the place felt a bit dated back then. But, the convenience of the location has always been enough to enjoy what it was to stay here. Now after the lengthy remodel, it is absolutely delightful to stay here. Everything has been updated! It still has the new room smell! From the rooms to the courtyard behind the front desk, it's just fantastic! We stayed on Christmas and it really felt quite cozy. After all these years, it's definitely a top notch place to stay for your Disneyland vacation!
Helpful 14Thanks 4Love this 16Oh no 0Jul 23, 2019Previous reviewI have stayed here so many times in the past 21 years that I have lost track! The Candy Cane Inn has never let me down either. I mean my kids grew up staying here practically every time we went to Disneyland. The few times we didn't stay there was due to late planning on my part. It's always so convenient that it is located right down the street from Disneyland. It's right on Harbor Blvd so it's easy to find. It's part of the special feeling we get every time when we get off interstate 5 and head south on Harbor. It's kind of got the feeling of a second home. I have always been happy with our accommodations there. The rooms are always nice and clean. The staff is always super friendly and very helpful. They can answer any questions you may have too. The only thing that can be an issue is parking. Over the years as Disneyland has gotten more crowded, the parking lot at the Motel seems to have gotten more crowded too. So try checking in around 3. That way you can easily find a parking spot. They have an amazing continental breakfast too. Nothing like the good ol' cereal bar to bring a smile to your face. They have way more than that though. Lots of good, healthy choices. It's a very short walk to the park from there too. That is a huge plus. But, they still have their own shuttle to take you back and forth. That's always nice to have after a long day a the park.

What an amazing experience this hotel provided us. Normally when we do Disney it's utilizing our vacation club points. We wanted a quick weekend get away to Disneyland and didn't want to use points this time so we gave the Candy Cane Inn a shot and wow wow wow. Great breakfast for the family and transportation to and from the parks. The rooms have been remodeled and very comfortable beds. Staff did a great cleaning the rooms and restocking everything even when we asked for some additional blankets.

This place is perfect for a Disneyland vacation! The rooms are updated and clean, the grounds are beautiful and it is a very short walk to the park. If you're tired there's a free shuttle every hour. The front desk staff is really nice and helpful. My favorite place to stay for Disneyland trips!

We booked our too short stay at the Candy Cane Inn back in May and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. It's a really cute hotel, super clean, comfortable beds and excellent amenities. You cannot beat the location, free onsite parking , free breakfast and the free trolley transportation. Our kids loved it and it made it so easy to enjoy the parks and downtown disney!
We loved our stay here and we are looking forward to our next stay!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Noah L.Los Angeles, CA064Mar 23, 2024
We had been looking for hotels every time we came to Anaheim and just thought this Hotel was just too good to be true, turns out it is! To put it up short, they basically have everything from pools, free breakfast to even bus service, and overall is very clean and comfortable to be in. In terms of price, I would say it is nothing really to be worry about, as it is one heck of a deal for a room. If you want to stick to a hotel rather than jumping to one another every trip, this is your best shot.

The rooms are newly renovated and are nice and comfortable. The decor is a great upgrade from our last stay in 2019. Nice mounted tv, ceiling air conditioner with control panel on the wall, and bright lighting. The staff is nice and friendly and the location is a short walk to Disneyland. If you walk slow, it's about 10 minutes and on the same side of the Harbor Blvd Disneyland entrance. The Candy Cane does have a shuttle, so it's up to you if you want to walk or ride.
Parking is free and they will let you park early if a parking spot is open. You can park your car, do a pre-check in, get a parking pass and come back to pick up room keys later. Although we didn't eat the complimentary breakfast, the front desk says breakfast is available even when you do a pre-check in prior to the room being ready.
The cons to this place are NO microwave in standard rooms and NO elevator. Microwaves are usually a standard amenity, but not here. Microwaves are only available in their premium rooms. If you have mobility issues or lots of luggage, request a room on the first floor. It's about 15 or 16 steps to the second floor. It's not bad, but could cause issues for some guests.
After your stay, they send a voucher for $10 off your next stay which has to be redeemed in 1 year for U.S. guests or 2 years for International guests.
