I had dinner tonight with 8 friends at this new restaurant steak house and booked the dining room for 8 pax with a minimum spending of $10000. the bill turns out to be around $1250 per person and the minimum spending was kindly waived. i must say the dining experience was great. the restaurant is very nicely decorated and renovated, much attention is paid to the details of everything used and chosen. the food was exceptional. the beef tartar to begin the meal was great, and it was prepared in front of us. we ordered basically the expensive steaks on the menu and they were cooked to medium rare and the beef was tendered and juicy. the desset tiramisu we all shared was fabulous, totally done in the italian way. i will be coming again for mothers day and i look forward to it. 繼續閱讀

Dinner at the Italian steakhouse by Dario Cecchini, butcher from Chianti, Tuscany.Greeted warmly as we stepped off the elevator, offered some cold cuts and a glass of Chianti as welcome drink. Alternatively, a very sweet tasting peach fizz for the non-alcoholics. Restaurant was divided into 2 main dining rooms. Seated at the window with nice views of the bar and the Harbour. Quite a low ceiling. Comprehensive wine list. Went for a bottle of Chianti. Here’s what we had.Bread basket served with a choice of light and spiced olive oils. Pickled vegs on the side.Grilled Octopus Tentacle- expertly grilled with a perfect balance between tenderness and smoky char. On the side: White Balsamic Vinaigrette on Parsnip Compote. Only pasta dish on the menu: tagliolini (plain and black ink) with squid and mussel. Pasta was perfectly al dente; seafood was succulent and tender, fresh with their natural flavors. On the side: luscious and creamy potato foam with few drizzles of tangy roasted bell pepper coulis.For the beef main, we picked the 45-days dry-aged Bistecca Toscana, since the Chef is from Tuscany afterall (and we not fans of Australian steak). Server warned that it might be a bit fatty. Cooked Medium. Accompanied by: tomatoes, pumpkin puree, roasted garlic.Decided to try the Béarnaise sauce, Red wine sauce and truffle sauce. Server also gave us some salt. Meat was flavorful with an irresistibly tender texture- tasted best with a slight sprinkle of salt. Side dish: French Fries with Grana Padano Cheese (similar to Parmigiano Reggiano) and Black Truffle. Could be crispier.Valrhona Chocolate lover's dream: Sensazione Di Cioccolato- chocolate jelly and chocolate gelato on a moist chocolate brownie base, with blobs of rich dark chocolate sauce that beautifully complements the decadent flavors.Giardino di Agrumi, capturing the essence of a citrus garden, with zesty orange blood sorbet, grapefruit, lemon gel, lime, creamy orange curd, and a crunchy almond crumble. The dish is taken to new heights with the addition of a Grand Mariner granita, adding a sophisticated touch to the overall composition.Bellini: velvety vanilla crème Chantilly on a delicate pavlova, garnished with pieces of juicy poached peach, topped with refreshing ruby peach sorbet. Raspberry coulis and peach Moscato sauce complemented the ensemble.A serving of moist olive oil cake (with a hint of alcohol) completed the decadent dessert experience.In summary: satisfying night with attentive service and refined ambiance. 繼續閱讀

一行七人,搵咗呢間新開的意大利餐廳食brunch,麵包、頭盤及意粉是 unlimited refill,主菜是牛,甜品是Tiramisu, 都是大圍分享食。食物整體質素不俗,頭盤的沙律好新鮮,意粉的牛肚及牛肉丸亦很出色,主菜的牛則有好有普通。坐了三幾個小時,都感覺到服務很好,環境舒服,裝飾亦適合打卡。 繼續閱讀

it was a pleasant and elegant dinner experience overall. we were first greeted with some welcoming drinks (uncharged). there were 4 wine selections in total, pretty considerate of them!the interior was very beautifully designed, with a hint of old palace vibe. on top of that, the panoramic view of the victoria harbour makes the place look perfectly balanced between modern and historic architecture.service was great and the staff surely contributed to the comfortable and welcoming atmosphere! they kindly introduced the menu and were able to make conversations in both canto and english.price range was very reasonable given its located at a 5-star hotel. food quality was not bad and there were some creative dishes as well. i especially enjoyed the oxtail soup (it was so rich!) and the lasagna - the freshest lasagne i’ve had, with white sauce and lots of greens. rly small portion though 😅 just a thin slice. rice balls were fine and not particularly worth trying. would like to try the black meat balls tho. they look so cool!well done, carna! would love to revisit and try the big-cuts with more people next time. a great celebratory dinner spot, would appreciate if a polaroid photo is taken tho haha $1000 pp which included an appetiser, a 300g rib-eye, lasagna, side dish, dessert, red wine 🍷 繼續閱讀

位於尖沙咀赫德道酒吧街、剛剛在過去12月才開業的Mondrian Hotel 39 樓的 意大利菜Carna by Dario Cecchini,景色很美,食物很美味,氣氛很好,服務周到。慶祝或約會的好地方。內部裝潢有高級的意大利優雅,廚房裡設有該市為數不多的獲得許可的木炭烤架之一,雖然不是窗邊位置,我們也很靠近窗邊的座位,完全可以一覽無遺地欣賞香港島的天際線。牛排完美地煮熟至五分熟,多汁且有微妙的煙燻味。有大約六款醬汁及鹽可以自行沾吃。南瓜Risotto飯質雖然迎合了香港人的粗硬程度,但配有黑松露一片片仍和南瓜很配合很出色。來到整個晚上,甜點——基於生日的情況下,朋友都點了一份甜品蛋糕作為生日用途,口感令我驚訝,面上的雪糕不是Cream,非常creamy。是次Carna by Dario Cecchini 的體驗總為港幣 1300 元,有高級餐廳裝潢以及食物高質數,餐廳提供了一個視覺口感氛圍元素,這不僅僅是一頓飯。 繼續閱讀
