when booking it offers the option to pay $75 per person to do the waterparks. we are going saturday to saturday, sunday thru friday will be our park days 6Days, we plan 5 park days with a pool day. Can we use that without it counting against our park days

    Hi Kimberly!

Welcome to planDisney! You have come to the perfect place to get answers to all of your vacation planning questions!

When purchasing your park tickets, you'll have a few ticket types that you can choose from that can add additional experiences to your stay. One of these options is the Water Park and Sports Option, which will give you access to the water parks during your visit. If you plan to purchase a 5-day park ticket with this option added, you'll receive an additional five visits to either the water parks or other fun activities. This will not count against your theme park days, as you will still have five days to explore the parks.

When booking a 5-day park ticket, you'll have eight consecutive days to use your tickets. You can plan a water park visit on either your arrival or departure day, depending if you have enough time. Otherwise, you can visit the water park on any of your park days. Reservations are not required for entry into the water parks. However, make sure to secure your theme park reservations soon after purchasing your tickets. Park reservations are required for entry into the theme parks each day.

At this time, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is open and greeting Guests each day. I love this park for many reasons, but mostly for how family-friendly it is. There is something for everyone to enjoy here. It's the ultimate relaxation day, especially if you hop in the lazy river that surrounds the entire park. Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park recently closed for refurbishments and no reopening date has been announced just yet. I suggest following along with the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements.

Kimberly, I hope you have a magical time during your visit!

    Happy planning!
