We had an amazing time with Robert on this tour. We were so impressed by everything we learned, from food origins to different pairings, as well as all of the delicious local foods we got to try. Robert was so knowledgeable and kind, and the touring style was very conversational, which made it very interactive and enjoyable – I couldn’t imagine experiencing the island any other way!

Bob provided a fun tour of the food market. We sampled a wide variety of food and drink. He answered our questions, shared stories, and kept our tour moving right along. We ended at a sake bar where he even sat with us and enjoyed a glass of sparkling sake! He also gave us great ideas for restaurants. It was a very fun couple hours.

After a slight delay in the start of our tour, we met Robert who immediately began by asking us about our backgrounds. Then we went into the market and sampled some of the shops and stalls that were in the market. All in all, we were surprised at the diversity of the food available. The quality was also excellent and Bob was really casual yet knowledgeable. Those brooms though, pity about the biosecurity laws in Australia...

My mom and I really enjoyed our tour! There was a variety of sweet and savoury treats and lots of interesting facts along the way. We ended up going back into the market after the tour and bought the pickles, almond vinegar, chocolates, and even a broom! Things we would have never picked out/found without the tour. I would highly recommend this experience and we hope to do the Chinatown Tour next time we visit Vancouver!

My friends and I are foodies, so we had to book at least one food tour while in Vancouver. We chose Granville Island Public Market, and it wasn’t a disappointment. Rohan our guide was knowledgeable and personable. He took us to several great vendors and all the food was delicious. We enjoyed walking around and learning about what the market had to offer. I think our favorite stop was the tea vendor. One of the best chai teas I’ve had.

My dad and I visited Vancouver while on vacation and scheduled this tour as a way to see Granville Island and grab a bite to eat. It was an awesome experience and our tour guide was very knowledgeable, welcoming, and in general a great guy to spend an afternoon with. He even helped us plan out our other meals while we were in town by making some amazing recommendations. You can't go wrong with this food tour. The location, food tasting, and guide are all worth it.
