Rejoicing Spirits of Eastern Berks County invites anyone to attend their services and fellowship times on the first Sunday of every month at 3:00 PM at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. Parking is located behind the church with an accessible entrance from the parking lot. All are welcome to each 30 to 40 minute, no-shush ecumenical worship service that enriches the lives of all people, especially the differently-abled, their caregivers, families and friends. Rejoicing Spirits includes music, playing musical instruments, joyous singing, opportunities to participate, brief and meaningful messages, and the chance to connect with others. Join them for snacks and fellowships immediately following each service. The Oley Valley Community Education Foundation is hosting their annual 5K in memory of Dr. Jeffrey Zackon on Saturday, April 20, 2024. To learn more about this event and register, please click here! This is a one mile fun run, and participants are welcome to either run or walk. This in-person event will take place in the picturesque Oley Valley. The day-of-race registration table opens at 8 AM and the race begins at 9 AM. Fun Run will begin at 9:10 AM.
