We started off our trip eating at some really good, not always expensive restaurants. Adding to that theme, we found Moomba. The food experience reminded me of several familiar places. In a way, it’s comforting. Have you ever been to a restaurant with a great...view and a buffet? It’s like that. But, as a colossal twist, there is no buffet which can be real plus! This way, the lines in the restroom were shorter as not to be filled with patrons “taking a deuce break” and “clearing room in the colon for round three”. Also, it’s not cheap like one of those buffet venues; the higher prices help keep out the less desirable buffet patrons. But if you’re looking for a juicy steak that reminds you of the Golden Corral, this is your place. Take note, however, the servings are not unlimited. So sit back, enjoy your one, single drink, and enjoy. Also, choose the outdoor seating so you can pass a little wind as your body tries to digest your small, but delightfully chewy dinning experience. Try the Beef Pincho, one of the signature dishes; you'll leave knowing your jaw had a great workout. It's like a Pelaton for your face, I looked at least a year or two younger! We also tried one of their sister restaurants nearby which would hold its own against standards like Arthur Treachers or maybe Red Lobster!More

We decided to dine around 6:00 PM, not a lot of people so we were seated immediately. We decided to sit outside originally but then moved inside, because the FLIES. We ordered some seafood appetizers and a swarm of them came around us, but it...is expected with the seafood. My boyfriend and I kept swatting them away from our meal. After we decided to move to sit inside, which helped a little. We ordered the shrimp kebab and the steak carbonara. The presentation of the kebab was cool but the overall price for the meal wasn't worth it. We decided to try it since it was their most popular entree. The music from the bar next door was also annoying and it destroyed the ambience since they were playing club music. Overall, the view was what was breathtaking. We dined as we watched the sunset from orange, to pink, and until there was night sky. Definitely a restaurant for more touristy people.More

Beach front if you make a reservation a couple weeks in advance. Cannot beat the view! We had a party of 9, we were sat right away and offered a kids menu. the kids menu is meant for 7 and under based on the choice...($9 per meal). The menu choices are not based on one style of food. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. They do have a barbecue buffet for $32, not bag choices but they are stingy with serving you. The steak is not salted when cooked and was chewy. I personally feel the cost does not match what the quality should be there. Wine is definitely poured by measure, $9 for 6 oz. The bar makes good drinks though! I went here 15 years ago, and wanted to go back again. I would not return ever again. Sorry MoomBa!More

We visited Moomba Beach Bar on Feb. 29, 2020 and we loved the view from the bar. However, our friends ordered "something quick" which was chicken wings and fries. After an hour, we had to leave with our driver and their meal was still not...ready. When they asked for their money back, a kitchen staff came out with a half order and we were on our way. They were very disappointed that it took so long and that they only got half the food promised for $22.00 US. The beer was $5 US which seemed pricey as well. The washroom facilities were free but they need some repairs to the deck around them. The beach was nice but busy with seadoos right beside the chairs and swimming area. I would recommend trying another beach and beach bar.More

Moomba Beach was recommended to us as a place to visit. On our first full day in Aruba that's where we went. Even though it's not the best beach to choose from it was great being at a beach with a bar and restaurant right...there. In order to be on Moomba beach you do need to drink/eat from Moomba Beach Bar & Restaurant; whether it be while on the beach being waited on by the beach servers or sitting in the dining area or at the bar. We did both because we spent the entire day there. It was nice having chairs and a tent. All of the staff were great. One of the guys was letting people sample coconut milk. My daughters enjoyed that. As this place was recommended to us, I would definitely recommend to others.More

Very pleased with my choice for dinner which was a seafood salad for $15. The lettuce was fresh and crisp and the seafood lightly grilled and unencumbered by spices. Dish was served with a side of tasty dressing. We sat down at 7:10 and I...ordered a lemoncello mohito which ended up costing almost as much as my dinner $14. So I WAS a little surprised by that, but all and all it was a very good experience. The singer was also very good. Great service...didn’t feel rushed.More

The food is average and the prices a little high. But it’s good for what it is, a beachside bar and restaurant. It’s nice to sit in a lounge chair and have someone bring your lunch and drinks right to you while you enjoy the...beach. And I’ve had MUCH worse beachside fare. Kids will probably like the menu and it’s just interesting enough for adults to enjoy it too. They have a live DJ most nights so if you’re young and want to grab some drinks by the beach and hang out this is a great place to hit up. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here regularly, but I still always end up at Moomba Beach when I visit Aruba.More

This is a nice family restaurant with a good price point. If you are a foodie, this is not the place for you. We had the pinchoes, which is grilled meat served with grilled vegetables and fries Argentinian style. Decent food for a decent price....They have burgers and sandwiches, some grilled meats and fish. The reason to go there is to dine on the beach and seeing the gorgeous sunsets. They have a lively bar next door and are close to the Marriott and the Holiday inn. Good parking behind the restaurant. If you are looking for a good venue for the family, this is it.More

My family party of 9 went there our first night. Location was great. Had a lovely breeze could see the ocean. Super close to our hotel (surf club), we actually walked. The food was okay. Not a log of selection and definitely overpriced. Waiter did...not comply with directions on multiple orders, no onions or tomatoes and rarely kept our drinks full. Seafood chowder was blah, I didn’t even finish it. Plus no refills and the glasses are a little bit bigger than a double shot. Six shrimp on a skewer, salad and fries for $30. Hamburger for $25… so said he has cooked better. They do have a breakfast all you can eat buffet that might be worth trying for $16. The bar area was hopping and a huge tv like drive in size was playing sports so if you are into that vibe I’d go for it.More

Went there for lunch with my wife and sister in law. Sister in law had the veggie tacos which she enjoyed. Wife had the Philly cheese steak which she said was good but fries were cold, waitress offered to bring out fresh hot fries, wife...declined, and she took it off the bill which was very nice of her. I had the fried grouper sandwich which was tasty but a little on the skimpy side fish wise, but honestly for the price you really can't complain. Atmosphere was nice, waitress was friendly and attentive. Just couldn't give it a 4 but we would probably go back.More

Had dinner there a few nights ago and it was mediocre. We had dined at Moomba a few times several years ago but did not have the same terrific food this time around. We both ordered the need pinchos (skewers) and they just did not...have much flavor. The atmosphere was great, sat at a table on the beach under the party lights and listened to live music.More

Strong Aruba coffee accompanies your breakfast while you sit at a table in the sand just feet from the water. The menu is nicely balanced so there is something for every visitor and the plates are loaded with ample food. It is a great way...to start the day in Aruba, no rush, have more coffee and enjoy the view.More

My friend and I were in Aruba for five days and we came here for dinner on our first night. The food was awful and we spent $40 pp, it was extremely overpriced for the poor quality and taste. The setting on the beach was...beautiful. I would not recommend this place for dinner, only for drinks and to enjoy the view.More

We arrived about an hour before closing time and were told we could not stand at the bar due to covid(fair enough). After being seated it took ≈15 minutes for someone to take our drink order and another 15 to get it. It was not...crowded while we were there. We did not see the sever again for the remainder of the evening and no one asked us if we wanted more drinks. About 15 minutes after closing and clearing looking for some to bring the bill, I went to the bar to get it. They snapped and me and told me I’d get it soon. 10 minutes later I got it paid it and as we get up to leave the original girl brings the bill and starts yelling at us to pay. We try to explain but she would not accept it.More

Without a doubt the best bar/restaurant on Aruba! The atmosphere is great, the staff is super(!) friendly, the food is super tasty and served in a culinairy way and good prices for a top location with great sunset view. The daily live music creates a...great atmosphere together with the lights and decoration! We went here on our first day, and we normally like a diverse holiday with visiting many different places, but in the end we came here almost every day for drinks, lunch and dinner. This place is just a paradise to visit, especially because of the great staff. We would like to especially thank Nannet and Maikol for their great service, the constant smiles on their faces and sincere interest. They really know how hospitality management works!More
