Surprise! Cameron Diaz and husband Benji Madden welcome baby girl Raddix
Rasha AliCongratulations are in order for Cameron Diaz, 47, and husband Benji Madden, 40, who can now officially be referred to as mom and dad.
The "Bad Teacher" actress surprised fans on Friday when she announced she and Madden have welcomed a baby girl named Raddix.
"Happy New Year from the Maddens! We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden," Diaz wrote in her Instagram post. "She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family."
The new mom went on to say that for the time being, they will not share any photos or further details about their new bundle of joy.

"While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little one's privacy. So we won't be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really really cute!!!" Diaz wrote. "Some would even say RAD."
She continued: "From our family to all of yours, we’re sending our love and best wishes for a Happy New Year and Happy New Decade."
Madden shared the same message to his Instagram page.
Raddix is both Diaz and Madden's first child.
