I am running against the influence of money in politics. Workers are struggling to survive while the rich just buy politicians to improve their lives. I will not take your money and I will not take their money and I don't have money. I will not annoy you with advertising, phone banks, robocalls, yard signs, and everything else that money can buy. I will represent the people of Idaho to the best of my ability.

The Reverend Robert Lovering, who was my childhood neighbor and electronics mentor. He ran a TV repair shop out of his garage and gave me dead TV carcasses to salvage for electronic parts. There was nothing that he couldn't do or build in spite of being confined to a wheelchair from Polio. He built a second floor addition over the garage for his growing family complete with a homemade elevator. He taught me that nothing was impossible and I have lived my life with that belief. And of course my mother who built the hardware and programmed the software for my mind, with a copy of her mind. I wish I could say anything good about my father.

That a girl from Marsing, Idaho who was not rich or popular stood up for the state she loved. She helped to make it where kids actually wanted to learn by helping to fix the school systems. She stood up for the people by helping to reduce taxes. She proved to others that may be sitting back because they don't think they would have a chance compared to someone else to actually get up and defend their state.

Race ratings

See also: Race rating definitions and methods

Ballotpedia provides race ratings from three outlets: The Cook Political Report, Inside Elections, and Sabato's Crystal Ball. Each race rating indicates if one party is perceived to have an advantage in the race and, if so, the degree of advantage:

  • Safe and Solid ratings indicate that one party has a clear edge and the race is not competitive.
  • Likely ratings indicate that one party has a clear edge, but an upset is possible.
  • Lean ratings indicate that one party has a small edge, but the race is competitive.[1]
  • Toss-up ratings indicate that neither party has an advantage.

Race ratings are informed by a number of factors, including polling, candidate quality, and election result history in the race's district or state.[2][3][4]
